BLACK TUESDAY: Winter Bane by Abbath - I do not know much about this Norwegian black metal band other than they are new and they have a new album out. What I do know however is that if that f*ing groundhog sees its shadow, it is going to be a very black day tomorrow. But I digress.
For the record, I am not one for the black metal typically, which often veers into caricature. This album however is pretty excellent, great tune sense and every so often enough hook to draw your back in.
This isn’t what I normally listen to but it’s too good not to love.
