Meeting one of the Winter Gods

i'm going to tell you a quick story

about my spirituality. this morning i saw a full grown bald eagle gliding over the highway lazily, as if he had just woken up. that's a fairly rare occurrence in this area of connecticut- not unheard of, but a unique experience, certainly. especially in the middle of winter. upon arriving to work, i suddenly remembered that i had previously misplaced my key to the building. after waiting close to ten minutes in the 9°F weather for someone to hear the damn doorbell, i thought of the eagle and daydreamed a message to the gods of winter, snow and wind. i would never ask for a change in the weather, this is new england after all. i just hoped for a smidge of luck. suddenly the sun shone noticeably brighter as a cloud moved away and i felt much warmer during the next five minutes that i spent outside. what a beautiful answer for a silly witch like me. okay thank you for reading. have a magical day! ❄💕

I Am So Lucky And Proud To Be A Gay Man. I Can Remember When I Was A Thirteen Year Old Boy And Scared Beyond Belief That Someone Was Going To Discover My Secret. I Was Called The “F Word,” “Queer,” And A Whole Lot Worse. It Hurt. There Were Times When I Feared For My Safety. Then I Accepted Myself, and It Was Better. I Saw The Example Of Other Gay Men Living Proudly, Openly, And Joyfully. They Inspired Me To Live My True Self.

I Would Never Change My Sexuality Today. And I Still Learn About Being A Gay Man And Acceptance From Others

Although He May Be Younger Than I Am, Gus Kenworthy Teaches Me to Be Proud Of Who I Am. He Reminds Me That Being Gay Gives Me Understanding And Empathy Of Others Who Suffer Illness, Oppression, Or Lack of Understanding From Others.

Yes, Gus Kenworthy Is A Beautiful Man. But His Beauty Is Not Just Physical. His Commitment To Causes, Such As Fighting Aids Or Stray Dog Adoption, Is A Far Greater Beauty. 

He Is A True Sport Stud!
