one thing about me is

i feel much happier in rainy and colder weather than in sunny and hotter weather

Winter Haters be like "nooooo I hate this time of year I hate being cozy on the couch with 3 soft fluffy blankets, nooo don't bring the space heater closer to warm our toes while we cradle a cup of hot cocoa! I hate the way snow muffles all sound outside and creates an intimate bubble of quiet solace for just the two of us, no don't pop a marshmallow in my mouth and let your finger linger on my lips for just a second longer than necessary, I'm just snuggling up with you for warmth and that's it— anh, stop it, we're both girls! I hate this time of year!!"

Even though it is freezing right now 🥶 here in Colorado. I would still rather have 29° over 99°

I know a lot of people really enjoy summer, but I absolutely can’t stand the heat 🥵 if I had it my way, I would have fall and spring all year long. But winter is beautiful with the snow ❄️

Even my outfits are for winter I feel like are a lot cuter than my summer ones. I love the holiday season, and staying inside with a good book and the fireplace going 📖 🔥

Being a bartender, I get so much social interaction on my workdays that I really like to be antisocial (unless I’m on vacation) on my days off. So winter is perfect, I don’t feel obligated to be outside or have to socialize. I could be a hermit crab inside my house with my dogs 🐶

As for today, I did go and find a cute new spot for lunch in Boulder. And also picked up a new book ☺️ thought I would make this post before I turn my fireplace on and start diving into this 📚

I don’t know why I felt the need to make this post today maybe because I have been currently re-watching the MTV series “Awkward” if anyone remembers that show 😝

hobi after a hardworking day - sope fluffy ramble

So, today was a very long and rainy day for me. This is just some of the pretty SOPE scenarios i make in my head for mental health and comfort. I hope the feeling gets across even with my poor writing habilities lol c: 

After a long day of work, Hoseok came back home where he shared a dorm with his fellow band members. He came inside the entrance talking through the phone with Jimin, wishing him a nice trip to visit his loved one. The rest of the members were also taking advantage of a couple free days they had to visit families and lovers, which they rarely had time to do. This time, Hoseok wanted to use these days to relax at the dorm by himself and try to write some rhymes he has been thinking about. Even after a hardworking day at the studio and dance practice, he wanted to put up some work for his own mixtape in the free days ahead.

Since he had been going the whole day between the studio and dance practice, his body was covered in dried sweat which was then added with fresh sweat, it was a cycle. As neat as Hoseok is, he wanted to shower firstly, so he turned on the cold water and washed his day off his skin, away with his tired self, he was now very excited and fresh, ready to just enjoy sometime to himself before going to bed, so he threw a towel to his waist and started to fill up the bathtub, this time with steaming hot water. Went on Netflix in his laptop at his bedroom, starting to look for a good romantic k-drama to enjoy in the tub when it was ready.

The door entrance sounded open and Hoseok recognized the footsteps in the living room, though he didn’t understand why Yoongi was still in Seoul if he could visit his family for a few days.

“Hi hyung!! how come you haven’t left yet?” said the redhaired boy, still in a towel, holding his laptop on hand.

“Well, maybe I just go tomorrow, I’m too tired to go tonight” said Yoongi yawning, taking out a few things from his bag and not even really noticing his roommate was only wearing a towel, maybe he was used to it already.

After remembering he had left the water pouring, Hoseok hurried to shut it before the tub overflowed and came back to the living room for his laptop, where he found Yoongi had still not gone to bed.

“Hey, I knew you were gonna be here… and I saw this in the store and thought you’d like it? Idk it reminded me of you for some reason” said Yoongi handing a small box to his friend without making eye contact. The box read WINTER MINTCHOCO LOVERS! Pour steamy milk and mix! And a very cute illustration of a mint and a chocolate cuddling with winter clothes.

Hoseok was so moved by the detail he was embarrassed for not even knowing Yoongi was gonna be there too, he didn’t have anything for him. So, he not only thanked with the widest smile to his hyung, but insisted on him to have a cup of minty hot chocolate with him, to what he ended up accepting.

“I was going to watch a drama on the bathtub, just to distract myself a little, I’m satisfied with everything I got done today, so now I just need to relax” explained the youngest sipping a bit of his chocolate.

“Hobi, you always work very hard, you deserve that distraction, and this mintchoco… I know you love that ice cream, but since it’s winter I thought-” started Yoongi before being interrupted with a finger to his mouth.

“Hey I love it! You really are sweet, Min Suga..” said Hobi smiling and making his eyes disappear into crescent moons.  “Plus, you actually should get some relax and chill time, you never stop working” he finished without realizing how the invitation sounded.

The thought of both of them in a bathtub made Yoongi blush bright red like crazy, which made Hoseok realize the situation and made himself laugh, without expecting the next answer.

“Okay then! I’ll go for the lavender and honey bathbomb I bought about a year ago!” hurried Yoongi already taking his jacket off and waddling to his bedroom. Leaving nervous and blushed Hoseok standing in a towel with his two hot mintchoco’s and a romantic drama about to play.
