What did you do in 2017 that you’d never done before? give birth
Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year? i don’t think i had any..
Did anyone close to you give birth? a few humans, yes
Did anyone close to you die? unfortunately
What countries did you visit? adventured around the west coast this year
What would you like to have in 2018 that you lacked in 2017? more moments of creating
What dates from 2017 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? Judah’s birth was the best day ever, there’s nothing like it
What was your biggest achievement of the year? again, making a human
What was your biggest failure? there was no “big” failure, but i failed every day...i fell into selfishness often
Did you suffer illness or injury? nope #govegan
What was the best thing you bought? getting our new car was a fun one
Whose behavior merited celebration? probably my mom, for sticking with us while we had a newborn and going above and beyond in taking care of us and helping out in any and every way
Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? with all the shootings, those people who killed made me sad and furious
Where did most of your money go? veggie grill
What did you get really, really, really excited about? going to yosemite and carmel and disneyland with my family
