hellooo this are some questions i would love to ask you (they are all music related cause i love talking about music)
What's your favorite song of all time?
If you were to get lyrics tattooed on you, which would they be?
Who are your top 3 favorite bands/artists?
What is a song you are obsessed with at the moment?
What is your least favorite BB song? >hahhaha i am evil and i want to see what you pick
Thats all for now :))))
Hiiiii thank youuuuu for asking this stuff to meeeee and taking the time to look for and think about these questions and stuff I appreciate it soooo muchhhh :D
a) Gosh you came in swinging what the heckkkk TToTT. I’ll say “Seven” by Taylor Swift, I always feel so nice listening to that song, no matter what my mood is :)) And me and my bestie have proclaimed it our “friendship song” that expresses our love for each other. I could explain what this song means to me for days, but long story short, it’s about innocence, self-reflection and childhood friendships, and it just hits us hard and comforts us (we’ve been through a LOT these past few years and have always had each other in our support system). So like yeh, this song is everything to me and softens my soul and heart :”)) "August" by T Swizzle was a close second
b) Oh GOSH these are all so harddddd TT-TT. I stared at my screen for like 5 minutes just THINKING about what I'd like to have tattooed T-T. I'll go for "Love you to the moon and to Saturn", from the song above (and my bestie will get "The love lasts so long" tattooed, yes I asked her, yes we're as close as GDYB cuz we're pulling their antics (Ji's 'Forever Young' tattoo and YB's cross being in the same place to symbolise them). And we'd write it in each other's handwriting. Okay I'll stop. OMG I just realised y'all probably don't know this! They got it tattooed together on the same day and Ji even said he was gonna get "Forever Youngbae" tattooed. Yes GDYB used to be a super popular ship back in the day. Yes I trolled you with that one, it was revenge for making you disclose my least fav BB song, I in fact waited for your like and then edited this in. Happy anniversary to the FOUR seconds of your life in which you thought that was real.).
c) Top 3 favourites!! Oh gosh I regret asking you to give me questions these are impossible /lh /joke I aprecciate ya so much. Welllll ummm.. I'll go for BB (ofc), Taylor Swift and Kendrick Lamar, they're GOATED.
d) Obsessed with "It's Not Living (If It's Not With You)", it's such an experience lmao.
e) Ahhhhh nooooo you're gonna get me cancelleddddd. No like really you're gonna get me cancelled. Like I'm scared. Genuinely y'all plz don't block me I'm sorry. I really am sorry I love y'all but I'm sorry. There go ANY possible likes I could've gotten for writing this post. But it just SHOWS how much I love BB's music imho cuz I wouldn't skip it if it came up in my playlist unless I'm in a MOOD, it's literally my only skip. Okay here goes... (I even relistened to make sure that I'm certain.. I ESPECIALLY don't like the live version, can't get past the intro, like please keep the live version away from me.. another confession, in my DECADE of being a BB fan I haven't watched the mv more than once.. like not even kidding I watched it ONCE)..
No I don't dare it I'm sorry it's such a popular song I'm goNNA be MURDERED in my sleep if I disclose this TTOTT
The new joetrick pic is making me insane but also i just wanna talk about joe because i didn't even knew he wears glasses, but he looks sooooo fucking cute (yeah I know he looks blurry as hell lmao but still)
NO FRRRRR im so intrigued because joe got lasik in 2016 (or some other type of corrective eye surgery idk insta post where he talked about it), and before that you’d see him in glasses occasionally but only occasionally…and so im like. are these for seeing??? or is he just in his fashionista era (which may be the case with his lil loafers…) like i want to see these glasses in better quality cuz even when he DID wear glasses it seemed like they didn’t look like this…
(tumblr cropping is weird it won’t let me crop any further than this without freaking out on the formatting LMAOOOO)
part of me wonders if it’s like. his lasik has reversed itself (which sometimes happens), or like if the glasses are related to whatever he had his eye bandaged up for last month in the pics from gordon…idk JOE IN OLD MAN GLASSES SAVE ME REGARDLESS……and you’re so right blurry or not he looks SOOOOO CUTEEEEE

f) Hickeys (nobody is surprised there)
g) Nipples (I'm sure you remember the infamous clip of Tabi pinching Ji's nipples)

^I can't relisten the audio rn but I think they were talking about nipples?
((There’s like more evidence of allllll of this but y’all don’t know how busy I am rn TOT so feel free to send anythinggggg you wanna add :D) and I'll edit this as well when I got more time)
Atp they probably have some sorta exhibitionism as well
ooouuh do u have any specific tswift lyrics that remind u of gtop?
TOO MANY (to reduce the damage, Imma focus on romantic lyrics; otherwise, we'd be here all day). Just promise y'all will make more creative things for GTOP cuz this is the biggest GTOP x romantic lyrics moodboard in the history of "romantic quotes based around GTOP moodboards" I've seen (loooook at all the tropes, the break-ups, the drama, the loveeeee). Here's a TL;DR version cuz I got carried away to say the least: (Btw there are a buncha pictures (cuz Rachel refuses to read my long posts if there are no visuals) and I used this Tumblr for all of it: /reputayswift/).

Death by a Thousand Cuts
Saying goodbye is death by a thousand cuts
Flashbacks waking me up
I get drunk, but it's not enough
'Cause the morning comes and you're not my baby
(…)
I look through the windows of this love
Even though we boarded them up
Chandelier's still flickering here
'Cause I can't pretend it's ok when it's not
It's death by a thousand cuts
(…)
I ask the traffic lights if it'll be all right
They say, "I don't know"
And what once was ours is no one's now
I see you everywhere
The only thing we share
Is this small town
(…)
You said it was a great love
One for the ages
But if the story's over
Why am I still writing pages?
(…)
My heart, my hips, my body, my love
Trying to find a part of me that you didn't touch
Gave up on me like I was a bad drug
Now I'm searching for signs in a haunted club
(…)
Our songs, our films, united we stand
Our country, guess it was a lawless land
Quiet my fears with the touch of your hand
Paper cut stings from our paper thin plans
(…)
My time, my wine, my spirit, my trust
Trying to find a part of me you didn't take up
Gave you too much but it wasn't enough
But I'll be all right, it's just a thousand cuts
False God
We were crazy to think
Crazy to think that this could work
Remember how I said I'd die for you?
(…)
We were stupid to jump
In the ocean separating us
Remember how I'd fly to you?
(…)
They all warned us about times like this
They say the road gets hard and you get lost
When you're led by blind faith, blind faith
(…)
But we might just get away with it
Religion's in your lips
Even if it's a false god
We'd still worship
We might just get away with it
The altar is my hips
Even if it's a false god
We'd still worship this love
Afterglow
Fighting with a true love is boxing with no gloves
Chemistry 'til it blows up, 'til there's no us
Why'd I have to break what I love so much?
(…)
It's all me in my head
I'm the one who burned us down
But it's not what I meant
Sorry that I hurt you
I don't wanna do, I don't wanna do this to you
I don't wanna lose, I don't wanna lose this with you
(…)
I need to say, hey
It's all me, just don't go
Meet me in the afterglow
(…)
It's so excruciating to see you low
Just wanna lift you up and not let you go
This ultraviolet morning light below
Tells me this love is worth the fight
(…)
I lived like an island, punished you with silence
Went off like sirens, just crying
(…)
Tell me that you're still mine
Tell me that we'll be just fine
Even when I lose my mind
I need to say
Tell me that it's not my fault
Tell me that I'm all you want
Even when I break your heart
Daylight
I don't wanna look at anything else now that I saw you
I don't wanna think of anything else now that I thought of you
I've been sleepin' so long in a twenty-year dark night
And now I see daylight, I only see daylight
(…)
Threw out our cloaks and our daggers because it's morning now
It's brighter now, now
(…)
And I can still see it all (in my mind)
All of you, all of me (intertwined)
I once believed love would be (black and white)
But it's golden (golden)
Soon You'll Get Better
(I’m sorry for making this GTOP, but I have to.. TT-TT)
That was the first time we were there
Holy orange bottles, each night I pray to you
Desperate people find faith, so now I pray to Jesus too
And I say to you
Ooh-ah, soon you'll get better
(…)
I just pretend it isn't real
I'll paint the kitchen neon, I'll brighten up the sky
I know I'll never get it, there's not a day that I won't try
And I'll say to you
(…)
Ooh-ah, soon you'll get better
'Cause you have to
(…)
And I hate to make this all about me
But who am I supposed to talk to?
What am I supposed to do
If there's no you?
(…)
This won't go back to normal, if it ever was
It's been years of hoping, and I keep saying it
'Cause I have to
Okay from now on only 'Midnights' is an album I adore so there will be gaps and I'm gonna miss a lot but like lemme.

Just a fancy car
Now I'm waiting by the phone
Like I'm sitting in an airport bar
You had some tricks up your sleeve
Takes one to know one
You're a cowboy like me
(...)
You're a bandit like me
Eyes full of stars
Hustling for the good life
Never thought I'd meet you here
It could be love
We could be the way forward
And I know I'll pay for it
𝓇𝒾𝑔𝒽𝓉 𝓌𝒽ℯ𝓇ℯ 𝓎ℴ𝓊 𝓁ℯ𝒻𝓉 𝓂ℯ
Help, I'm still at the restaurant
Still sitting in a corner I haunt
Cross-legged in the dim light
They say, "What a sad sight,"
(...)
I swear you could hear a hair pin drop
Right when I felt the moment stop
Glass shattered on the white cloth
Everybody moved on, I, I stayed there
Dust collected on my pinned-up hair
They expected me to find somewhere
Some perspective, but I sat and stared
Right where you left me
(...)
I cause no harm
Mind my business
If our love died young
I can't bear witness
And it's been so long
But if you ever think you got it wrong
I'm right where
You left me
Anyways, here's the song vibe I'm praying to every God Seunghyun delivers to us/suchhhhh a GTOP song that fits with fanfics to end this way to long post absolutely nobody asked for but I had a lotta fun making it :D
This is how i sleep knowing gtop is real and they are going to be together soon ❤
Sighhhh.. same, everything's gonna be okay :))
EDIT: @wintercrash GURL COME BACK
I found this super romantic GD like right after I responded and HAD to share immediately, oh mi lord does he KNOW he isn't using his lurker account for this stuff (he's been liking some random things, low-key getting on my nerves lmfao)? Idk when he liked but OEF since I just found it, maybe recent? Moral of the story: you sending messages makes GTOP stuff happen (shhhh don't question my GTOP science).
ok girl idk if you have answered this already but i need you to tell me everything you know about untitled 2014. I've heard so many rumors about it: its a song about top, is about kiko, is just a song about gds life, the title comes from a fanfic (?). I need to know your pov.
i also find it very interesting how bullshit was supposed to be the lead single for kwon ji yong but due to the top stuff that happened near that time, gd totally changed it to be untitled the lead single, a song that talks about wanting to see someone again just one last time ..........👀
Okayyyyy Imma just tell you what I know, tho, since it was such a horribleeee time most of us gtoppers didn't really engage in this discussion :)) I do have to say, a LOT of shippers looooved using Untitled 2014 as a "weapon" to prove their ship, so there are too many theories and some of them are just.. absurd.. oef.
I'm going to start with the mv's visuals. According to me, GD was "laying himself bare", the way Tae did for 'Eyes, Nose, Lips', because it was a sincere song from his heart. But he was still wearing a veil because he, unlike Tae, didn't (and couldn't) reveal his muse. The shifting colours represent different emotions that he has gone through, and the colours on the Übermensch album match up with the colours we had linked to 'Love'. Additionally, in his changed outro for Untitled 2014 (which he only rolled out after the Seoul concerts for as far as I can tell) also displays those bright colours that are possibly linked to love. Like everything about the song, such a change could have two meanings. Either, his personal journey is over and he is now in his space, in his love, or his love story is over and he's found peace and settlement.
This is what I've written about Untitled 2014 in the past: "And in his lyrics of Untitled 2014, which in my opinion is about self reflection through the lens of a breakup, ((he admits to himself that he says harsh things and chases people away))" and I pretty much still stand by this and everything else I wrote here, but this post was just a brief thing I wrote about Jiko vs. GTOP. I think that this song is a sincere song and could be about two things at the same time, his journey and his heartbreak. Not sure if I should analyze the lyrics or not, but it's pretty vague anyways.. the same way 'Take Me''s only "concrete" receipt besides the vibes being very VERY GTOP is the fact that he posted the words "Take Me (I'm Yours)" to Instagram in the beginning of 2014 with very suspicious GTOP timing.

Is it true that GD wrote Untitled 2014 for T.O.P?
Some people say it was actu
Now, the first point of discussion was when GD had written this song. Was it in 2014 (when he had an obvious and painful break up) or was it in 2017? Many people suspected that doing some sort of math problem (I BELIEVE (since I'm going to go off of what I know and am giving a POV so I don't wanna do too much research and taint what I do and don't know) it was an addition of his birthday, so 1988 + 8 + 18 = 2014) would get you GD's birthday and therefore it's a song about himself, instead of alluding to the time he wrote the song. In a picture that GD released with the lyrics of the song written on a piece of paper, he'd written Untitled 2017 and scratched the 2017 out to write 2014 instead, but later on in his career he made a painting called "Untitled 2022" in 2022 as the title suggests, which proceeds to confuse me a bit, since GD is a consistent person in his symbolism but I'm not sure what to think in this case. You can conclude that the song was either written in 2014 or in 2017; both of these have valid arguments.
Another point of discussion was the change of the lead single from 'Bullshit' to 'Untitled 2014'. Something you should know is that Seunghyun was supposed to feature in 'Bullshit'. There is proof of this through clips of Ji using pre recordings with Seunghyun's voice for his performances, and since it's not like Seunghyun can just come and record these lines given the situation he was in, the conclusion was that Seunghyun was supposed to be featured (isn't it interesting, the fact that Seunghyun was supposed to rap alongside GD in this very personal album of Jiyong's?). Now, maybe it's just me, but in a friendly context this song would've stayed the lead single since it was the one that featured Seunghyun's voice and was a perfect gesture. But that's just my personal opinion. Many people would rather attribute this change to a "tonal shift" to match the more depressing circumstance, and not a gesture to TOP, which is... also valid? I guess? Even if I remove my shipping goggles, I don't really understand this, since Bullshit was RIGHT THERE, with Seunghyun's feature and all, but he had to switch it? Idk tho, probably just me.
I am not aware of the title coming from a fan fiction, I think you misunderstood an inside joke? Lemme know what you came across tho, maybe I'm wrong :))) The inside joke within the GTOP community is that Ruinwyn can "predict" the future and/or always provides incredible interpretation of GTOP, and one of the things she did is predict that a song like "Untitled" would exist, except she felt that Seunghyun would be the one writing such an emotional song.
Now, for the rumours surrounding other potential muses (sigh sigh sigh). I don't like Jiko (I've made it very clear) and I don't think this song is for her. Like at all. Most Jiko shippers think this song was written in 2014 (cuz their ship was buried in 2015 lmfao) so I'll address it while 'acknowledging' that as a fact. I know that people see Ji unfollowing Kiko TWO WEEKS after his break up as proof of them being together, but we all have agreed that the timing reeks of a cover story and that the performance (which I hadn't found until recently smh) that BB did in 2014 makes it clearer to me that it's actually Seunghyun who broke up with Ji. Additionally, and maybe it's just me, but GD posting "We have to(o) many memories" during his break up just.. doesn't fit well with Kiko. Since they made it clear that the only language they have in common is English and they only really hung out in groups (till ofc the paparazzi images lol) and even then barely, making them chronically long distance, I don't know where these "to(o) many memories" came from. Additionally, Jiko was Jiyong's most public relationship rumour (since people are too heteronormative to think of men being a valid option) and "nobody knows" being such a focal point of the song doesn't make much sense (to me). But really, there's so much counter evidence to Jiko it's funny. Then we got CL.. not even gonna start this one, it's so obvious they aren't dating lmfao.
And then, we get to the shippers that have the award for the most far fetched theorists, Applers. Jesus, when I TELL you that they spread rumours with no base in reality and do it again and again and again. Don't believe a thing coming out of their mouths it's all unbelievable to such an extent that I'm sure Ji sends their theories to Dara so that they can laugh together. They live in a Kdrama, not reality TOT. Yes that's all I have to say, not even gonna start unpacking their wild ideas. Speaking of wild ideas.. here's mine (yes I'm a massive hypocrite but I have concrete evidence that they're dating and don't rely a 100% of the time on delusions like Daragon shippers) :))

d) AND THEN THEY START PLAYING UNTITLED 2014?? And he's realllllyyyy emotional while walking these streets? Where he even filmed (an Infinity Challenge version) of Crooked? I'm assuming people didn't bat an eye because he laid a thick layer of HDon on top (pun unintended) during this scene. But umm yeah, I don't think he's recalling his past with HDon alone...
There are probably other things that allude to Choi Seunghyun being the muse but I..can't recall lulz I apologize. But, since I believe they were dating, ofc I also believe that Tabi's the muse. Feel free to ask me more questions, I probably know more but can't recall it rn lmao.
