To everyone here worried about AI-use. These people are Korean. And they absolutely love AI there. We can't put western values and morals on them. Ji himself openly advertises AI painting tools on billboards. I am not saying using AI is good and I hate it too. But they probably genuinely do not understand what the problem is and like AI because so does mostly everyone else in Korea does too

First of all, I mention this as well in my first post, explicitly saying that they’re KOREAN men in their 30s, for this exact reason. Second of all… what??? Do you think Koreans don’t understand the implications of AI, at all? Ok fine, sure, they don’t. Do you think these rich men with *global reach across art industries* don’t understand the implications of AI? Be so fr anon. And I’m all for cultural differences making experiences different, I even defended “Korean stans that didn’t appreciate Tabi”, because it was getting to a point where the ostracism was blatant, but there’s a time and place for such viewpoints. Which brings me to my third point: AI isn’t a part of any culture. Simply isn’t. We haven’t gotten to that point yet (and no, internet culture isn’t culture) but we might if the usage of AI keeps moving forward into mainstream media. South Korea is so governed by cooperates to the point that ofc AI will be sold to all the citizens. But while such power over people via eg. subtle caste systems is (unfortunately) becoming a part of Korean life and mindset, AI isn’t at that point yet. So fans showing disgust and distain for AI isn’t “imposing Western standards” anon, it’s imposing necessary steps towards reducing AI usage and preventing normalisation, which in turn reduces profit for all these disgusting companies that already have too much fucking money, at least for the Western market. Because yes there’s individual use of AI by Asians in general, but most of it is spearheaded by companies, and ppl like gtop can and should’ve educated themselves before promoting it for free and using it in their big projects. And ALSO, even if it was cultural, there’s never no point to calling out abhorrent “values and morals” (in quotation marks cuz I don’t think AI is any of that) in other places. Stop coping anony 💕

i was the anon with the joke about gtop and ai and i agree with all u said. it is so worryingly common for creatives to use ai for every creative aspect outside their own field when they could have hired and paid other artists to work with that (writers and musicians using ai to generate book and album covers being the most notorious example). some people really don’t care for anything besides their own interests; their faces start to twitch only when what they thought was only happening to others start to come for them as well. what is it they used to say? first they came for… you see where i’m going.

but anyway i just find gtop both being ai shills such a funny example of them being soulmates. they really do influence each other.

No but seriously, Ji and Tabi consciously support AI, Tabi has been posting AI since the “Will Smith eating spaghetti” days, and it’s a shame, but they’re rich Koreans in their 30s, I should’ve seen it coming. Sigh sigh sighhhh. It’s disappointing, cuz you’d think two creatives would see how wrong it is to use AI, especially for art, but clearly they don’t see the issue. At least I doubt Ji or Tabi would use AI for writing their music, they value their own integrity above all else (which makes their use of AI for visual art even more infuriating, but I digress).

Imagine if Ji had hired incredible artists to make his HSH mv for his space project rather than let it be a playground for AI companies to work with a creative team and improve their model, and imagine the (very negative) impact of being a creative and helping enhance AI to make these complex mvs. Cuz these companies 1000% used this as a learning opportunity to better replace artists. Face this head on. And I admit that at the time, I didn’t speak on this, because I was uneducated on the matter. But gosh, do I regret that. Remember, these business men will never understand creativity, they lack the very essence that makes one creative, and see creativity as a CHORE, hence the “tackling” of art using AI.

Hmm I probably need 10 years to find the receipts, but I’m sure it’s somewhere 100% once you know what you’re looking for: Tabi switched out the lyrics with “Get well soon Jiyong” once (way back, like 2008) when Ji was sick, and another time Ji saying “Oh my love…… TOP” when Tabi wasn’t there (this is a bit more ahead, idk fosho when tho… maybe 2011-2012? I don’t know much about gg ships, that’s a different school, so idk tbh, but I’ve heard MoonSun from Mamamoo and 2Yeon from Twice get hyped up a lot as legitimate, so maybe that? Eeeeeek, lots and lots to say about the music video it seems!! Well, firstly, I don't think anyone's lying because a.) I trust this Threads account so much, she's amazing and b.) quite a few people have reported the same thing, as seen in Doom's post here.

And........ I've seen a clip of the music video.

So yep, can definitely confirm there are plenty of daisy/rainbow/Jiyong related images in there! In fact, I almost feel overwhelmed by the amount of them, holy shit. I can also see how it could relate back to the fans, as that's what Seunghyun is claiming lol, that the little redhead girl is meant to represent his fans or whatever, but yeaaaaaah it's pretty.... it's pretty obvious to me.

I'm not going to do a full reading of it right now, because I'm not really in the right headspace to do so at the moment and also because I don't want to analyse anything without the full MV to watch, but at least we can confirm that everyone was telling the truth and it's going to make for a VERY interesting watch as soon as he releases it! In T.O.P's song "Seoul Chaos," there's a line that caught my attention: "Kissing with caviar and Krug"

I started investigating and found out that "krug kiss" exists.

What is the "Krug Kiss"?

These two rings are not the same but they've been posted by the same person who has enhanced the photos with AI, meaning it's made mistakes
