I’m currently watching GOT season 7 and my god do I hate the whole Arya/Sansa plot 😭 Why does Arya attack Sansa so suddenly when she’s literally doing nothing but her duty as lady of Winterfell ? She’s proving time and time again that she is NOT conspiring to seize Jon’s throne and that she’s even willing to give up her position as lady of Winterfell to Bran and yet she still get attacked by Arya out of nowhere ? Also I simply hate the scene where Arya is basically threatening Sansa who is literally crying out of fear, I mean how does one can think it is a good look for Arya re-traumatize a rape survivor ? I simply hate the way they handled their conflict
We should have known it would all end in a pathetic mess.
They ignored complex emotional conflict in favor of making characters act in wildly irrrational ways that contradict their logical priorities or the facts happening right in front of them - in order to hide a surprise twist that wasn't really surprising or a twist unless you're an imbecile.
It's the only trick they know.
