I had a great time painting red rocks this morning thanks to my good friend Scott, who also offered to be an art Sherpa- he helped with my gear and lead the way and took some amazing photos. It was also great to spend time in sunshine, exercise, laugh and paint. I packed the "fly on the wall" from @joshuabeen If you are looking some the same system as the Daytripper but more compact - it's perfect. Winter Sage. 12x9". Oil I love sagebrush. Although my allergies don't. All types, all seasons. It's a mysterious plant and not an easy one to paint. But I try, repeatedly lol.
