Nadia Pym-Barnes had never been sick a day in her life. Schoolyard colds seemed to just pass her by. Sure, cold weather could give her a runny nose, but it never resulted in anything more. She rarely even got more than a rumbly tummy from eating something bad.
So when she was rudely awoken by the need to curl over a toilet for the foreseeable future, Nadia knew something was up. She had plenty of time to work through the mental math while she knelt before the porcelain throne.
She and Bucky certainly hadnāt been trying to get pregnant, but they hadnāt exactly been the most stringent about avoiding it either. Truth be told, they hadnāt even really talked about kids beyond an eventualĀ āsomedayā hypothetical situation.
Apparently the Universe had decided that needed to change.
