On her back, a worn bag filled to the brim with free books that weren't selling at some used bookstores she frequented. Unfortunately, she had fallen off the ladder to get to the high selves, and her knees were scraped.                Annoyance and pain evident on the girl's face, she continued walking, the small wounds on her knees closing and re-opening painfully. I just had to pick the farthest bookstore away from my apartment... She mentally sighed.
