台湾は、ASEとの直接提携により、WinWayの生産能力を倍増させる半導体テスト施設を新たに開設しました。

半導体テストインターフェースの専門企業であるWinWay Technology（TPE：6515）は昨日、仁武工業団地に新工場の建設に着工しました。投資額は349億台湾ドル（10億ユーロ）です。2027年末の完成、2028年の生産開始を予定しています。

このプロジェクトが構造的に重要な意味を持つのは、世界有数のチップ封止・テスト企業であるASE Technology（TPE：3711）とHorng Terng Automation Co.との提携により新工場が建設される点です。この3社は、高度な封止・テストサービスに特化した工業団地を共同で構築しています。

新工場の生産能力は、WinWayの既存施設の生産能力を合わせた2倍以上となります。このソリューションは、半導体テストの3つのレイヤー、すなわちウェハテスト、最終テスト、そしてシステムレベルテスト（SLT）を網羅します。特にSLTは、出荷前に実環境下での検証が必要な複雑なAIチップにとって極めて重要です。

このような投資は、12ヶ月の予測に基づいて決定できるものではありません。ASEのようなパートナーとの2028年の量産開始目標は、OEM各社が既にこのプロジェクトに対して長期的な発注量を確保していることを示しています。

投資家にとって、半導体テストはAI開発チェーンにおいて最も過小評価されがちなステップの一つです。チップが複雑化すればするほど（HBM、高度なCoWoSパッケージ、多層SoCなど）、テストの重要性、時間、コストは増大します。WinWayはまさにこのニーズに応えるソリューションを提供します。
