Working very hard with these new brushes to make this WIP ( Frankenstein Cora, thanks @fanaticsnail for nerd sniping me so profoundly) look like a classical oil painting, paying attention to all the colors and anatomy.

...and then my three year old toddler looked at it and told me, " oh no, 😔 his belly button is red and ouchy".

She was talking about his nipple.

Savage.

( I also really want Laws hand placement to look more intimate, not in the sexy way, but in "the knowing someone from the inside out rebuilding your loved one from the stolen parts of others in defiance of God" way....uh, as you do. I just feel like that's a particular kind of intimacy. But I also need his hands not to obscure the image too much because there's still all the stitching details to add....)
