WRITEBLR INTRODUCTION

Hello everybody! I’m Ksheerja, she/her, minor, Indian and I follow back from @springsnelson which is my lit blog. Usually, I get an idea to write, and then I forget about it as I drown in my schoolwork. So I really hope I'll get my wip done someday.

I try to write short stories, poems and am working on a novel at the moment! I love writing about royalty, court schemes, mysteries and themes revolving around found family, determination and betrayal.

I, of course, love to read as well! Some of my favorite novels are If We Were Villains, These Violent Delights, Shades of Magic and Raven Cycle (I do not support the author, I just like the writing).

Our Treacherous Paths: Kiran Shah accidentally gets recruited to a group bent on getting revenge for their kingdom, Vaatika. Without any other path to follow, she agrees to help them. But she has a secret. A secret when revealed will destroy their shaky alliance. A secret she does not know how long she can keep hidden.

Brightest Flame: Enaya had wished for magic for a long time. Magic just like everyone around her has. But when she didn't receive it, she wondered what was wrong with her. And then when she finally does get her magic, there was something wrong with it. So wrong that she burned down a house the first day she was gifted magic. The evil is unknown but it is lurking near as Enaya, Tashya, her friend and the mysterious stranger, Ahil, whose motives are still unknown to Enaya race against time to find the cause of it before destruction strikes them all.

Lies That Bind Us: Akira is running away from her past when she reaches the new kingdom, with a bag full of stolen items and heart full of secrets. Nishant, a boy who is tired of the lineage falling on him, is drawn to Akira's secrets when he meets her. Naira, an assasin waiting for her moment to shine, is caught in a web of lies and secrets, which no doubt can get herself killed. Arun, the crown prince, keeping his resentments at bay, is thrown off by a new problem every day in the falling kingdom.

Now, there's a looming evil near. And the problem has landed on the four of them to solve but they are all bound by lies. How long can lies keep them together?

—SYNOPSIS

A secret. A revenge. A betrayal.

Some wars perhaps never end when they are thought to have.

As the story goes, its been ten years. Ten years since the sudden war between Vaatika and Orden. Ten years since the defeat of Vaatika. And ten years since the kingdom of Vaatika has been left in ashes.

But there are secrets. And there's much too many mysteries left behind in those ashes.

Kiran, on a mission, is wandering outside her kingdom, Orden, where she gets entangled into the lives of three Vaatikans searching for a way into Orden. When she gets recruited by them, she soon realizes that the kingdom of Orden might not have been the saviour ten years ago as everyone believed. As the consequences of ten years prior starts to cause chaos, it falls on Kiran, Vihaan, Alisha and Afreen to bring out the truth. But in between people who have trusted and told her the truth more than anyone else in her life, Kiran is holding a secret. A secret which threatens their shaky alliance. One, she is determined to not let out.

CHARACTERS :–

Kiran Shah: Stuck between court schemes, secrets and lies, she has to make her own choice, and choose her side before its too late.

Kingdom: Orden

Vihaan Bakshi: Heart full of love for his kingdom and vengeful for its destruction, he awaits the moment when the kingdom of Orden falls.

Kingdom: Vaatika

Afreen Ali: An artist stuck between her duty and passion, yearns for freedom of those wronged ten years ago.

Kingdom: Vaatika

Alisha Basu: Haunted by her past, a soldier biding her time by waiting for her moment of glory to come, she wishes for revenge and to see the kingdom of Orden burn.

Here's an excerpt from Our Treacherous Paths

“Do you really think this was just a once-in-a-while problem or was it a start to something?” Vihaan asked Alisha who had a worried look in her eyes. He knew the answer but he needed to confirm his suspicions.

"Definitely a start to something.” The voice was as stable as always as they both turned around to see Afreen, the third one of them. Her hair hidden under the dark colored hijab she was wearing and eyes shining in thought. She had decided to stay back while Alisha and Vihaan could go and find out about the spreading darkness but must have thought to join them later.

“Don’t you know Orden is known for providing the best facilities to its citizens?” Afreen recited the words that had been spread in the whole world and echoed everywhere. “It has to be a start to something if one of their best facilities just went away at the most important place of the kingdom.”

Alisha seemed lost in thought as she gazed at Afreen; her face a mixture of surprise and relief at Afreen's sudden appearance.
