As a little gift to @britasmrva , I made a doll of the most adorable pumpkin king

Honestly, drawing his features made me realize some things

1. This dude is as pale as a corpse (lol)

2. I really hate drawing the black star crown he wear

3. This boy is so expressive that it made it so much for me to draw

4. He’s definitely really cute and I like that he has such a simple design (in terms of silhouette)

5. It makes me wonder how much Fellow is going to make me rage like crazy when it comes to drawing his clothes and his fuckass jellyfish cut

The EXP I gained from the aneurysm that was Fellow's doll aided me in drawing the chaos goblin DILF in a cutesy form

That being said, I do need to fix his facial scars however

This took me so many months to finish because yo gurl was

Only decided to finally work on this and drag it out of WIP hell because of the Tapis Rouge event coming to the EN server next month

(NOW FOR THE YAP SESH ON THE INSPIRATION BEHIND HER OUTFIT! :D)

Admittedly, the moment I saw the outfits in the JP server, I was inspired by Chanel's vintage suits so her outfit was HEAVILY inspired by Linda Evangelista modeling for the Chanel Haute Couture fashion show for Autumn/Winter 1991-1992

Namely, this suit

My thinking is that Vil definitely knows about Ro's love of vintage fashion and during her hunts at antique stores and charity shops, a lot of her wardrobe was inspired by past decades (namely the 60s teddy boys/girls, the 70s, 80s, and the 90s) so without telling her, he had the people at Luxe Couture make an outfit that was heavily inspired by the looks of the 90s but add a little bit of a twist to it.

It was a lot of fun doing research for different Haute Couture looks especially when it came to vintage fashion. Maybe I'll try drawing her sprite when I have the time. At least I have a reference now xD

The Skully J. Graves Cotton Doll Sketches

And now we finish the sketches! I honestly didn’t think that I would get done this quickly with him but it felt nice. I was definitely in the zone with this guy lol

Admittedly, since I didn’t know how the back of Skully’s tailcoat looks from behind, I had to take some creative liberties on how it looks (the third volume of the magical archives can’t come sooner tbh because I need to figure out how this dude’s coat looks like from the back or I am going to McFrackin lose it). I was a bit inspired by Heartslabyul’s Halloween costumes during the Terror is Trending Halloween event as well as Spectral Soirée so I thought

“Well, since Skully’s ribbons are supposed to represent a skeleton’s ribs, why not make it connect to a spine of sorts?”

If anyone has any references for how Skully’s coat looks from behind, feel free to send me them.

While I’m rendering him, I’ll add in the little swirl and stripe details on his outfit as well as his shoes.

As for the mark on his belly, I know some people use a regular Jack-o’-lantern for his mark but I kinda wanted him to have more ties with The Nightmare Before Christmas so why not use the pumpkin that’s placed on Halloweentown’s door?

Overall, I think he turned out cute. He looks so mischievous too!
