A Cursory Look at the Wire Binding Process
Wire binding is a very popular commercial binding method. It is known by different names such as twin loop wire, wire-o, double loop wire, wire bind and ring wire. Using this binding method, you can insert your punched pages on to C shaped spine and then use a wire closer to squeeze the spine until it gets round.
Renz offers Renz Binding Wires of a premium quality that ranges from 6.9mm up to 38mm. They are available in different 14 colors such as white, silver, black etc. Renz provides you two variations in wire bindings of which one is available in 3:1 pitch and other is available in 2:1 pitch. Both of these variations hold variety of colors. There are two sizes offered by Renz. The Renz Binding Wires A4 has two variations. First is, A4 3:1 which consist 3 punched holes per inch, and used for smaller documents not larger than 120 pages while at the same time A4 2:1 consist 2 punched holes per inch which is generally used for larger documents of up to 325 pages.
Another size offered by Renz is Renz Binding Wires A5 which has its two variations. One is 3:1 pitch wire and another is 2:1 pitch wire both of which consist of same properties as in A4 size. One important feature that Renz gives you is that documents which are bounded by wire binding will open completely flat on a desk and allow you for a 360 degree rotation of the bounded pages.
