in undertale dreemurr sibling and chainsawman brainrot rn so spoilers for both media below:
my personal interpretation of pre-death chara dreemurr is somewhat similar to nayuta from part 2 of csm
and i ESPECIALLY see chara and asriel's dynamic as shown in the 2 images below, with chara wanting asriel to mainly care for/prioritize their friendship above everyone else (eg. "how much do you like/care for everyone vs me")
(note that even if chara deeply cares for asriel as a brother/friend, their relationship held some form of toxicity+manipulation, this was apparent in undertale and i see too many people forget this important aspect)
another aspect of chara i wanna interpret thru another csm scene is that: imo chara struggled to seperate themselves as a human, a threat to monsterkind, and as a potential key to freedom/the prophesied "Angel" in the underground. this turmoil would only be worsened by the festering hatred for humanity we know chara had
so i could see there being a moment of chara asking the one person they truly trust, asriel, to affirm who they are. and asriel, in all his compassion, affirms their identity as his best friend/sibling
this petscop dialogue feels so edwin murray idk i cant even fully explain, first id say toneth would be david and the dog is mimic even with the car crash mention
but then i also conceptualize this as edwin being so lost in grief during the 2 weeks that his mind is just mixing up and going between both mimic and david and hes just losing it idk i dont even know thanks for listeing to my very well thought out coherent thoughts

ive been very fnaf and petscoppilled recently and ill say that im fascinated with their characters to an extent BUT i have no sympathy for them at all they should suffer imo
