For multiple years I've been planning a Rise Donnie meets 2012 turtles fanfic based around there being lingering damage from the technodrome embedded in Donnie and the 2012 Krang wanting ahold of it.
Do you think I should go ahead with writing it after it being shelved for so long? I like writing short stories but this would be a really long fic and I've always been worried about mischaracterising any of the turtles.
Also, should I use art book information to inspire parts of it?
I totally think you should!! And then you should tag me in it when you write it because that is absolutely something I want to read!
I adore the 2012/2018 crossover fics, I've been writing my own for the past 6ish months now and will take any and all of other peoples stories of those groups (Esp Donnie/ Disaster twins)
If there's something in the art book that inspires you, you should absolutely use it!
I'll give you a piece of advice, when writing fanfiction or making art, don't worry about what others think. You are creating it on your free time with your own idea because it's something you want to make, don't worry about mischaracterizing anyone, you don't even have to post it if it's just something you want to read, but my mindset when I create is "I made this for myself, I like it, and I want to read it, others may not like it, and that's ok"
