One of my moots reminded me of the sonic au I never finished drawing and I don't think I posted it here yet!

Teams I may draw in the future:

I was kinda thinking that in the au, Sonic, Amy, shadow, neo, and eggman would all be human trainers while the pokemon on their teams would be their friends/other sonic characters associated with them

That being said some of the pokemon are actually ocs like nyx and twister because ofc I had to make it about meeee

If Omega could, what would make him blush?

You can tell by suddle changes in his body language when omega is 'blushing' he heats up and his fans turn on, that's something commonly over looked as him getting upset but any other intense emotion he's experiencing can manifest in that way. most people dont know that however, if you get to know him well you'd be able to catch on what gets his fans going. Nyx knows and can get away with teasing him in certain ways :)

Example A:

Omega has built in communication so team dark can keep tabs on him or send him info, nyx has it connected to his phone and likes to go out of their way to tease him through sending messages. Nyx knows they've won when omega blocks contact and he's no longer engaged/listening in on rouge and shadows conversations. hes just, silent.

Example B:

i dont think omega likes being perceived in ways that make him out to be the loving type. Especially when he thinks it "goes against his programming" so all he does is deny liking any sort of connection let alone physical contact. with that being said, insinuating that he IS that type of guy or catching him receiving or giving affection, makes him defensive (he would blush at that)

Last add-on to all of this:

There have been times where nyx had gotten really really frustrated during combat, something clicked in him that he was attracted to nyx when they're angry, something about the unhinged blunt force they're able to tap into when enraged.. its rare to see nyx mad, so it comes as a surprise to him when they take out their anger during combat. what can i say, the robot likes fighting. he has mixxed feelings when and if its directed towards him but he'd like it nonetheless since it's them blowing off steam. he's not in any actual danger anyway so its a win win, omega gets to spar and nyx gets some relief from it :P

Haiio!! how did omega and nyx become a thing? Did one of them confess to the other or did they both know they liked each other (⁠〃ﾟ⁠3ﾟ⁠〃⁠)

Fuuuck this is old art now but I'll post it anyway..

One random night nyx confessed to omega when he was in "sleep mode". he could hear them but choose to stay off and listen. SORRY IF THATS LAME, nyx didn't want to deal with the awkward possibility of omega questioning them or blankly staring at them before walking off- OR WORSE. STRAIGHT UP REJECTION. at least if omega was somewhat stationary they could just ramble about whatever he's feeling without having anything too embarrassing happen.

The confession itself was riddled with uncertainty since they didn't expect omega to even FEEL any sort of love towards them. I mean, he's a robot, would you expect him to like you back?? Or let alone KNOW that??? Nahhh. They expected a harsh rejection from him. Hence one of the reasons being why he wanted to do it when omega was in sleep mode. His rejection could be him pretending he didn't hear anything nyx said or telling them later on that he doesn't reciprocate those feelings.. can you tell nyx is scared of rejection yet? 💀

omega did take a few days to process and think, pretending he didn't hear anything that nyx said to him. he did have at least some sort of feelings towards nyx but Everytime he thought about it, it ended in him getting frustrated since he didn't know how to properly categorize it. He lost literal days to himself silently thinking and going into loops due to his persistence. When being questioned about his absurd amount of silence, he only told rouge what was up. Of course she'd try to make sense of it with him and tell him it looked like he might have a little crush on them but he wouldn't take that as an answer. 

He spoke with nyx after a few days of ignoring EVERYONE (how rude😔💔) which nyx was obviously concerned. He confessed he also didn't know what he thought of nyx. 

So yeah that's basically when they became a thing since they're both on the same page and they both know to an extent that it's not platonic. I like to think they slowly figured it out over time and oneday nyx just straight up asked him, if they were dating because they lowk acted like it before it was official.
