This is my only tattoo. It's a hawk. I posted this because the bird theme showed up in my life again today while walking with @culaw96. I was explaining in great detail why I think I have a particular problem with pain in my hip and shoulder. The explanation had something to do with an old, deeply ingrained belief that I always need to be on guard and that life isn't going to take care of me. As I am explaining myself, he points up to the sky and says "do you see that"? I look up and there is a white hawk carrying a snake. He then says, "isn't it interesting that while you are talking about life not taking care of you that this hawk shows up with food in its mouth"? It is quite interesting. It's also nice to have people in our lives who will gently correct us when we move away from what we are wanting to create for ourselves.
