Gotta love it when two characters DO have a shot together but not enough to get one with good resolution!

Anyway, Farrah and Justine are both glorified extras, which is great for them and bad for the ranking. Every story needs supporting characters and people to fill out the cast. Familiar faces with dialogue and backstories and personalities so the world feels fleshed out, but never the focus or in the spotlight.

These characters are fantastic fuel for fanfiction because it means you get to snap up what little crumbs you're given and go hogwild. It's one of the most fun things you can do as a fan. Extrapolate in a place where the author has no reason to. But because their entire characters are so subject to headcanon, it does mean I can't rank them very high.

Let's look at what we do have: Farrah is a very kind soul who will happily grant her magic to others for any small reason, but is also a chronic workaholic who has to be reminded to take care of herself and secretly wishes she could have times where it's all about her. She's also childhood friends with Ashlynn, who's one of the only people that knows these two things about Farrah and is proactive about making sure Farrah gets loved too.

Justine. . . dances. In her sleep. And is very good at it. And is the baby of 11 sisters (or is it cousins? I can't be bothered to go looking right now). That's kinda all we got. I could go on about how perhaps Justine could use that youngest child energy to encourage Farrah to be more self-centered or how Farrah might help Justine get in control of her magic, but that's all purely hypothetical. Maybe Farrah thinks Justine is stuck up and Justine thinks Farrah is annoying. Or maybe the only time they think about each other at all is when they're in math class together or running in terror from the evil queen together. Who knows?

This really is the platonic ideal of a B-Tier ship. There's no reason for it to exist, but there's also no reason it shouldn't. A purely headcanon ship if you will. I'm not gonna put them BELOW the middle because it's not like they're doing anything wrong and you could mine a lot of great stories out of them, but it's certainly not winning any awards.

Verdict: I Can See It (B-Tier)

Now that I think about it … why does Farrah lowkey have a thing for shoes

Like her main ships are Ashlynn, Justine & Crystal

Our first meeting of Ash is her being obsessed with shoes, Justine’s webisode centres around tattered shoes and crystal … her whole story arc is learning to tie her shoes

Okay I forgot about my Anastacia au and I was just listening to the soundtrack so here’s my updated poll

Rewrite:

So far I have three and a half ish chapters rewritten and a few beta readers/editors. The plot/backstories are pretty fleshed out so it would be actually writing the chapters.

It’s basically a more mature eah with my personal ships + hcs

Dizzie:

A extremely canon compliant fic (going off of my timeline) which basically just focus’s on Lizzie and Daring.

I’m planning on trying to emulate the style of Shannon Hale and have it feel like it’s written by her.

I would work on cleaning up their timeline + writing the prologues from their childhood’s

(Also Daring depth!! Because that’s seriously lacking in this fandom) and yes epic winter will happen but they end up together.

Farrah:

Would coexist with the dizzie fic. Farrah just has SO MUCH angst potential istg.

Rn I would be doing the same thing as the dizzie fic, cleaning up the timeline surrounding her.

Anastasia au:

Based off the broadway musical, and I was talking to someone in one of 200 eah servers I’m in about Anastacia a while ago and it made me want to write this au (even tho I’m already including Anastacia as the school musical in my rewrite).

Those who know me are going to be so confused when I say kitzie is endgame lmao. There will very much be dizzie angst tho.

I do have most of the characters planned who they are going to be in this au and right now I’ll mostly be panning out the background of the romanovs/wonderland royalty.

Also every song in the musical is going to be a chapter so I already know exactly how many chapters / what’s happening in each chapter is going to be. 

If anyone wants to talk to me about some of these please!!! I’m dying to spill my ideas/ get input. Also if you want to help beta read/edit I would love that
