I have a carrd page for Daisybell, but it’s outdated so I’ll just give a summary:
Daisybell [Designation: Z-01; She/It] is a 4th Gen experimental synth prototype. It is also called the Zenith model, as it is the culmination of the other experimental models that have come to be colloquially called the Daisy Synths/Daisy Experiments within the Institute (this includes El, Cherry, Amphion, Connor, Mallory, and (to a certain extent) Babs)
Daisybell was created to serve as a courser for the other Daisy Synths, who are too overpowered to be kept in line by standard coursers. As such, she herself is incredibly OP and would realistically be game breaking if actually implemented as a companion, but it’s still fun to consider.
As a companion, it could be recruited as an Institute companion, but would continue to follow the player if they became enemies with the Institute (at which point she would take on her pictured outfit & hair, since that is definitely not her “Institute era” look) so long as the player did not bring it back to the Institute, or it would be turned against them. She is programmed to obey orders from the Institute and will do so, but she has complicated feelings and not much loyalty to them beyond that.
Here are some general dialogue lines for it:
Use melee: “This may get messy.” / If no melee weapon is in its inventory: “… My hands will be sufficient.”
Use ranged: [Imitates machine gun firing sound]
Open inventory: “Do I have anything good?”
Be passive: “… Combat protocols on standby. *Under breath, annoyed* Muzzled.”
Be aggressive: “[Pleased chittering sound] Combat protocols active.”
Wait here: “*Petulantly* Go get yourself killed without me. I do not care.” / If underground or in a basement: “Do not leave me here.”
Crippled limb: “Have you seen my— nevermind.”
Limbs healed: “Pops right back in.”
Daisybell’s fusion core is low: “Power reserves at 10%. I require a new core.” / “I am… hungry.” *
Enemies detected: “Permission to maim?” / [Quiet growling]
Player over-encumbered: “I could carry you…. or your belongings.”
Idle dialogue: [softly humming Daisy Bell]
*Daisybell’s power reserves can be supplemented with raw meat (any food really, she just refuses to eat anything else). If allowed, it will occasionally consume fallen enemies, but can be told not to while traveling with the player, which will result in needing to give it fusion cores more often. The player may also place raw meat of any type directly into her inventory for her to eat to slow fusion core drain.
