LOCATION:  harvey's  market  (  @wistfulxdream  )

it  wasn't  unlike  theodora  to  spend  longer  than  she  needed  to  inside  of  harvey's  market,  eyes  scanning  every  shelf  to  see  what  was  available.  she  reaches  for  a  can  of  fruit  on  the  shelf,  hand  bumping  against  someone  else's.  “oops  !  SORRY.”  it's  a  genuine  apology  until  she  catches  who  she's  bumped  into.  then,  it's  a  roll  of  her  eyes,  and  a  secret  wish  that  she  hadn't  apologized.  “corinne,”  she  grumbles,  snatching  the  can  from  the  shelf.  “how've  you  been.”  her  tone  is  flat,  and  it  doesn't  even  sound  like  a  question.  however,  she  likes  maría,  and,  unfortunately,  maría  likes  corinne.  so,  she's  promised  maría  she'd  try.  and,  in  her  defense,  SHE  REALLY  WAS  TRYING.

marco  knows  he's  probably  overdone  it  as  he  struggles  to  lift  his  arm  to  ring  the  doorbell,  shuffling  the  bags  around  to  give  himself  more  mobility  as  he  reaches  for  the  button.  with  a  little  wiggle  and  a  jump  he  manages  to  manouever  them  enough  to  press  it  twice,  huffing  as  he  rolls  on  the  balls  of  his  feet.  he's  gathered  every  spiderman  toy  he  could  find  in  the  area,  and  he  can  only  hope  elijah  doesn't  hate  him  after  this.  as  the  door  opens  his  face  lights  up,  giving  his  best  attempt  at  a  wave.  “I  MIGHT  HAVE  GONE  SHOPPING.”
