Iris blinked as she stared down at the steering wheel for a moment. “And why exactly do I need to stop at the store? Didn’t we just go shopping yesterday?”
“Sara turned Barry in a puppy and we’re low on the ingredients to turn him back to human.” Lisa didn’t sound particularly enthused buy what she was saying.
“Why did Sara turn my best friend into a puppy?”
“Because Lenny and Mick.”
Sighing, Iris closed her eyes and let her head fall back to gently thud against the head rest. Some days she’d like to just, beat those two over the head with a cast iron cauldron, she thought.
“I’ll be home later then planned then.”
