Something something Max is a witch who loves making potions. He's really good at it and people come to him for his generous concoctions.

But he hates washing up his caldron and it's too big to fit in the dishwasher always.

He puts out an ad for a personal dishwasher. Enter Daniel.

Daniel actually likes washing up, its soothing and it clears his mind. He actually tidies up Max's place a little when he's deep in his potion making.

Mutual pining.

Daniel maybe eats a love potion pastry and Max is distraught because Daniel is all huggy and cuddly now and Max knows it's because of the potion and not how Daniel feels for him.

It's supposed to last 12 hours, two days later Daniel is still walking around hugging Max from behind and crowding in his space and putting his head on Max's shoulder when he's standing in front of the caldron.

Max is confused.

"whatcha making Maxy?"

"Daniel please go sit down over there. I'm making some soup for your lunch." Max is actually making a neutralizing potion that's supposed to nullify the effects of his last one. He doesn't know why it's still working on Daniel. Maybe he'd never tasted magic before so his body doesn't know what to do with it?

Daniel drinks the soup and praises the cook and hums merrily while washing up. Max is distraught, watching him from the couch, stroking Jimmy.

Then Daniel finishes up and comes to lay on top of Max in the couch.

Max stills. "Uh Daniel? Are you ok?"

"mhm."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah Maxy why?"

"well you just drank a nullifying potion.."

"why would you give me a nullifying potion??"

"to counteract the love potion you are two days ago!"

"that was a love potion? Huh makes sense now I guess. But that was two days ago. Why are you giving me--"

"Oh! I guess. Ok." Daniel scrambles off of Max, face pinched. "I'm sorry. I overstepped. Gonna go walk into the black lake now."

"No wait- what did you mean?"

"well I thought.. well I love you and when I woke up the other day you were cuddling me and stroking my head and I thought you liked me back. And then you kept allowing me to hug you and cuddle you and I thought we stepped over the 'Max doesn't like to be touched' rule. But you were just-- the potion. I'm sorry. You can like turn me into a toad or something. You can use my fingers and toes, I'll add them to the inventory list." He says it morosely and Max blinks.

Daniel loved him back?

"I thought you were only doing that because of the potion."

"I always wanted to but you only let me after I started floating. But then...you didn't stop. So I thought...but it's ok--"

"I love you too."

FINAL shot of The Party from the Stranger Things Monster AU! Since this is done, I'll be doing other art/ fan art not from this AU. However, I'm planning on returning this for The Teens (or Spicy Six as everyone else calls them), once I figure out what monsters some of them are. Would anyone be interested in that?

(BTW Steve, Eddie, and Argyle are the characters I'm stuck on lol)
