Witch House/Witch Step (?)
Hey guys,
So I’ve been hearing about Witch House/Witch Step and have been looking into it but i haven’t found much on it. From my understanding of what i have read, it’s an occult based genre that emerged in 2010 and is a slowed down version of hip hop and other beat based genres. Most of the artists in this genre are audiovisual terrorists. The tempo is around 50-70 BPM. “The music is heavily influenced by chopped and screwed hip-hopsoundscapes, industrial and noise experimentation, and features use of synthesizers, drum machines, obscure samples, droning repetition and heavily altered, ethereal, indiscernible vocals.” However this is all i know based on what i have read online (and we know not everything is true). I’d really like to know more about this.
