((Hot take but people who write their lawful good heroes solely for the sake of showing off how good and morally just they are bore me. Perfection is boring and unrealistic. Give me the grit and the ugliness.

((My personal preference has always skewed towards morally gray characters, but I’ve had a few lawful good cinnamon roll characters that I absolutely love, except I don’t love them because they’re good. I love them because they are more than just good. They are kind, empathetic, and they have an open heart. They give chances to people others despise and ostracize. They may even be flawed in their kindness, which has consequences. They have their own opinions, and such opinions aren’t just based on what is good or bad, but formed by their own experiences and ideals.

((This could just be me, but every single person I’ve ever known to advertise themselves as good has not in fact turned out to be a good person, so characters like that turn me off. This isn’t to be confused with the desire to be a good person, but people who pat themselves on the back for doing anything remotely decent as proof they deserve to be commended for it.))

🎼 (Yusuke please~?)

It wasn’t often that Yusuke sang anything, often times he was just quiet, but it was this time as he focused on his latest painting that a melody came out. The brush so carefully would glide across the canvas as his voice sang out. 

Yusuke would sing a simple little song as he painted. The melody sounded like that of a lullaby, but what was impressive was Yusuke’s voice while he sang. Just as there was passion in his painting, there was a soft passion in his voice when he sang even if he didn’t realize it.

Behind Door #1 is Javadd the ibis garuda, Shahin’s former lieutenant turned mortal enemy. He’s a widower and a single dad to a son. He’s a soft-spoken guy who drinks his Respect Women Juice every day. He also has sharp talons on his feet that can cut a man’s head clean off his neck. And he has. He’s currently living in a nomadic band of rebels who disrupt Shahin’s plans at every turn.

Door #2 is Ziba, the swan garuda and considered the most beautiful of all of Shahin’s general (even more beautiful than the peacock). A lethal warrior whose fighting style is like a dance. He’s coarse on the outside but deeply cares for his family and his clan. When you get to know him, he’s witty and loyal and quite confident of himself. He also has a set of abs you could grate cheese on and he’s always showing them off.

(Coraline wasn’t really scary? I know a lot of people my age who were absolutely terrified of Coraline when they were little but for me? I never found it scary. Yeah it’s creepy but it’s more of a creepy cool than anything else.

Though I will admit sewing buttons into eyes is horrifying but eye horror only really gets me terrified/nervous the second you show a needle near the eye and since that doesn’t happen...still not scary)
