It's Raining Witches || Wizard and Witchkins
The tiny witch sniffled back tears as she ran her fingers along her ankle which felt like it was swelling up. She was a bit afraid to stand up, for fear it was broken, but still she had to try.
Turning too quick, she immediately fell back down wincing at the feel of pressure on it. As she looked up, she saw a stranger and her magenta eyes lit up at the smell of him.
" Yeah, me. No, you! I knew I smelt something funny that last time I came here!"
She gave him a silly grin before a scowl found its way to her countenance, “Sorry ‘bout your roof, hadn’t meant to drop by.”
His eyes softened as he realized this was a fairly unskilled, young witch.
"....Smelt...funny?"
Wizard paused for a minute. He bathed daily.
Perhaps she had a similar reaction to magic as he did? He was able to sense its presence with his golden eye most of the time, and a tingling in his toes. The eye was more reliable, though, as it informed his mind almost immediately. This child had a really bright aura.
She hasn't been scarred yet.
Wizard reached over and picked her up. He wasn't the best with children all the time...he felt like they judged him. He tried his best anyways, climbing down from the roof with the blonde in one arm before plopping her on the floor.
"I'll heal your ankle. Hold still....and don't eat out of the cauldron....It's lethal."
