exactly. these are alllll classic romantic tropes we’ve seen play out on our tv screens a million times before. i remember being utterly convinced that harry and hermione were meant-to-be. to be fair, i was 8 years old, so we probably should be expecting a little more from our mostly-adult audience than falling into the romantic false lead trap. anyway, nothing new under the sun 😑🚬
