If you think about it, the whole Stolas deal with Blitzø could have dive into a more complex storytelling about trauma dumping.
Stolas was forced to marry Stella, so, being the man-child he is, he gets to force someone else to stay with him through a deal. There could have been a very strong parallelism between both these situations, leading Stolas to understand where all his toxic behaviours come from.
But no, let's throw a Blitzø-pity-party instead because he doesn't want to play the hero in our delusional novelish delirium.
