#witcher things

Ik a lot of fandoms have certain fanon driven “facts” that everyone accepts and writes into their fics- which I adore and sometimes forget aren’t canon lol

But I think the Witcher really takes the cake like there are SO many fanon tropes and the appear in almost every single fic

Like dear heart I’m almost certain hasn’t been said in the show (the show is all Ik and also mainly what I rard) and yet I can hear Joey saying it and is SO natural in fics that it’s weird when it’s not there

Another is geralts thing for scenting jask and that he’s 100% a cuddler

There so many more I can’t turnkey of rn but I love it

Things I think of at night....

When I’m all comfort and cuddled up with my pillows and my boyfriend, with a warm room but cold sheets and pillows, I think to myself, ‘this is perfect, this is wonderful, there’s no words I can think of in this moment to just describe the transcendant peacefulness I am feeling right now.’ And then there is quiet, and boyfriend’s soft, gentle breathing. Then -  “I hope Geralt dies feeling this level of comfort in a bed next to Yen. He deserves happiness after all the shit he’s been through.” - realization of what I just thought and feeling deeply upset with myself. Because why? Just why?!

My favorite Cinnabuns

Since Blood and Wine came out I rediscovered my love for all the Witcher characters but my fav are Regis and Ciri and I just love and get all warm and fuzzy on the inside thinking of a little Ciri being sleepy, and happy, and cuddly and surrounded by her friends/family. She gets to play with Dandelion during the day, she practices and pranks Geralt, she likes being read to by Yen before bed, and if she ever needs a pick-me-up her vampire uncle can materializes out of nowhere to pick her up, dust her off, and give her a hug.
