Witches Forest: Part 2
The next day, [Y/N], Jake, Colby and Sam sat in car on their way to Witches Forest. They had decided that they wanted to still continue on with the video despite Corey not coming. Today, it was a rather cloudy day in LA, which was not normal. [Y/N] and Jake sat in the back while Colby drove and Sam sat in the front passenger seat. Sam started recording.
“Well, here we are guys,” Sam said, facing the camera towards Colby, panning it around to show [Y/N], who was asleep, resting her head against the window, and Jake who was looking out his window. “[Y/N] is currently sleeping, which, I don't blame her.” Sam explained, panning the camera back around to face himself. There was an almost empty feeling in the car due to a certain someone not being there with them. Colby sighed. Sam turned the camera around to face the male who was driving.
“It just, doesn't feel right with Corey not being here. It just doesn't feel complete.” Colby said, clearly affected by Corey not being there with them. “I mean, it's always been us five. You, me, Jake, Corey and [Y/N]. And now, I mean, it's like, there a piece that's missing, you know?” Colby said. Sam nodded.
“I know what you mean bro.” Sam said, agreeing with Colby.
“And what [Y/N] said last night. About the psychic medium saying that Corey and I would be in danger in the near future. What if she was talking about today. I mean, Corey was right about the fact that we have no idea who Jennifer's friend is or if she even is Jennifer's friend.” Colby said. Sam nodded, agreeing with what Colby was saying.
“I mean, if we do feel unsafe when we go to the Wiccan's house, we could just leave but still stay in the Witches Forest. Jennifer did say that her friend could tell us more about the forest itself.” Sam said. Colby nodded.
“Yeah. If we do feel unsafe there, we can just leave but still stay in the forest if we still feel up to it. I also want to think about the safety of [Y/N]. I mean, remember, at the Stanley Hotel? [Y/N] saw and felt something there. Whatever she saw and felt was so bad that she locked herself in her room for almost a week and she refused to talk about what she saw after she came out from her room,” Colby said. He sighed and rubbed at his bottom lip. “I never, ever want to see her go through something like that again.” Sam nodded.
“Yeah. Honestly dude, none of us want to see [Y/N] like that again. Jake, Corey and myself. If at any point [Y/N] sees or feels something that even she feels is unsafe, then we'll leave the campsite and go to the cabin.” Sam said. Sam faced the camera towards himself. Colby nodded, agreeing with what Sam said.
“At any rate, guys,” Jake said, peaking around Sam's seat to look into the camera. “Corey is still with us in spirit.” He said. Colby and Sam laughed while sounding a little freaked out. Jake realized what he had said and started apologized, laughing.
“Woah! A little early to be talking about spirits, Jake!” Sam said, still laughing. ~~~~~~~
About an hour later, [Y/N] woke up from her nap and Jake was now the one asleep, leaning across his seat and resting his head in the middle seat. [Y/N] was looking out the window. Colby looked in the mirror at his girlfriend, while also keeping his eye on the road.
“Hey Babe,” he said, catching [Y/N]'s attention. She looked at Colby.
“Hmm?” She hummed. Colby kept his eyes on the road while he spoke.
“Sam and I were talking when you were sleeping and we wanted to talk to you about something.” Colby said, glancing in the mirror to look at his girlfriend. She nodded, letting him know to keep going. Sam took over, allowing Colby to focus on the road.
“So, you know how at the Stanley Hotel you saw and felt that presence?” Sam asked. [Y/N] nodded, closing her eyes, remembering what that overbearing presence felt like. She opened her eyes and looked at Sam, nodding and taking a deep breath.
“Yeah. I remember.” She said.
“And we also thought about how the psychic medium we hired before we went to the Stanley said that Colby and Corey would be in danger in the near future,” Sam said. [Y/N] nodded again. “At the Stanley, whatever you saw and felt, was scary enough for you to lock yourself in your room for almost a week, and you still refuse to talk about what happened, what you saw and felt,” Sam said. In the camera, he could see [Y/N] brush away tears at remembering what she saw. What she felt. The presence had been scary enough that she still refused to talk about it to this day, a year later. “So, if at any point you feel unsafe or you see and feel a spirit with an energy of the one at the Stanley, Colby and I want you to let us know right away and we’ll leave the forest and go to Jennifer’s cabin.” Sam said. [Y/N] nodded and sniffed, brushing away more unshed tears. She took a deep breath and looked at Sam.
“I appreciate you guys worrying about me, and like I said last night. This is your YouTube channel. I'm just tagging along because you guys want me here with you." She said. Colby nodded.
“We understand that, and, your safety is also a top priority for us. Just like my safety is a top priority, Sam’s safety is a top priority, Jake’s and even Corey’s," Colby’s eyes moved to look at the road as he continued. “And with your safety being important to all of us, we want you to tell us if you ever feel a presence like the one you felt at the Stanley. None of us want to see you locked away in your room again.” Colby said. [Y/N] nodded.
“I understand. I'll let you know if I ever see or feel a demonic presence.” She said. The car went back to a somewhat comfortable silence. Sam looked back at his phone, hopping for a text message from Corey. Sam sighed in sadness, seeing none. All of the sudden, Sam's FaceTime went off, showing that Corey was calling. Sam quickly grabbed the camera, turning it on to film.
“Holy shit! Dude, it's Corey!” Colby shouted. [Y/N] turned to look at the boys in front. [Y/N] leaned over and shook Jake's shoulder, a wide smile appearing on her face.
“Jake, Jake wake up!” [Y/N] said, causing the male to wake up, looking around sleepily.
“Corey's calling, dude!” Sam shouted. Jake was now more awake now that Corey was calling. Sam slid right to answer the call.
“Corey!” Everyone shouted. Corey smiled at the friends in the car. Corey sighed.
I've been thinking guys. Corey said. Sam moved the camera up to catch Colby's reaction, which was a wide smile full of hope.
“What have you been thinking about, brother?” Sam asked excitedly.
I saw your text, bro. If you guys can promise me that there won't be any seances and no spell casting, no rituals. And this is only because I'm thinking about it! Corey said. [Y/N] smiled, scooting over to the middle seat and leaning forward to get into camera’s view.
“So, are you coming?” She asked.
No, maybe. Only, only if you can promise me that there will be no seances and no like, spell casting, none of that bad stuff, then I am down. Corey said. Colby smiled.
“Corey, I can promise you that we are not going to do anything bad. I am going to turn around and come and get you.” Colby said. [Y/N] held her hand up, as if stating an oath.
“As the girlfriend of Colby, the living Spirit Box and EMF Reader of the group, I swear to you that we aren’t going to be doing any rituals or spells.” [Y/N] said, causing everyone to laugh. Corey chuckled and nodded.
Alright. I trust [Y/N]’s Medium Oath. See ya'll in a few minutes. Corey said.
“See ya then, brother.” Colby said before Corey hung up. ~~~~~~~~~~
A few moments later, Colby parked in front of the apartment complex that Corey lived in. Said person was standing outside, waiting. Colby rolled down the window.
“Corey!” They all shouted. Corey did some goofy dance and [Y/N] moved to the middle seat, allowing Corey to take the right passenger seat. Corey smiled and clapped his hands after he closed the door. Colby started driving again.
“Let's just act like we're going to a cabin in the woods. We're not going to say Witches Forest, we're just going to a cabin in the woods.” He said. [Y/N] furrowed her brows, looking at her friend.
“Well that sounds even creepier!” She said, making them all laugh.
“It wasn't the same without you brother. We were all sad.” Colby said, starting to drive again.
“After I talked to you guys last night, I just, I don't know. It felt weird not to go.” Corey said, explaining his change in opinion. He looked at the camera. “I don't f*ck with f*cking demons, attaching to me!” Corey shouted, making [Y/N] chuckle. “And you said we weren't going to have any seances so we'll be fine.” He said.
“Y-yeah.” Sam agreed, dragging out the yeah almost nervously. Corey looked directly at Sam.
“Yeah? The f*ck you mean, yeah? You said we weren't going to have any seances!” Corey shouted. [Y/N] placed her hand on Corey’s shoulder.
"Corey, I can promise you that we aren't going to have any seances." She said. Sam nodded.
“Yeah. Honestly though, you made the world cry, man. It's never cloudy in LA, and the one day it is, is the day you decide not to come with us. So maybe it will be sunny now that you're here with us.” Sam said. ~~~~~~~
They had been driving for a couple hours, Sam having stopped recording to save battery on the camera. [Y/N] looked at Colby.
“Baby,” She cooed, using the voice she always used when she wanted something. Colby smiled.
“Yes, Princess?” Colby asked.
“I'm hungry.” She pouted slightly. Colby chuckled.
“Well, what does my baby girl want?” He asked. The others groaned and gagged at the couple.
“Ew, get a room!” Sam teased. Jake laughed.
“To be honest, I'm kinda hungry as well.” He said. Colby chuckled.
“Well [Y/N] asked first. What do you want, baby girl?” Colby asked. [Y/N] hummed in thought.
“Hmm, I'm kind of craving Burger King.” She said. Jake looked at the girl.
“That's exactly what I was thinking!” Jake said. The two gasped and looked at each other.
“Twinsies!” They shouted, causing everyone to laugh. Soon enough, they pulled into a Burger King and went inside to order. While standing in line, Colby wrapped his arms around [Y/N]'s shoulders from behind. She smiled and leaned her head against his shoulder.
“You know what you want, Babe?” Colby asked. She nodded as they were next in line to order food.
After eating, Sam turned the camera back on, turning it to face himself.
“So, quick update guys. We stopped at a Burger King to get some food. So now that our tummies are full, we are going to continue on to the Wiccan’s house,” Sam turned the camera around to face Colby. “Has she told you anything yet?” He asked. Colby shook his head. You were sitting between his legs, one of Colby’s legs propped up against the seat and the other resting on the floor.
“No. Literally all she has said is to come by her house. All she said was swing by my house and sent me the address.” Colby said. [Y/N] turned her head to look at her boyfriend in shock and slight worry. Almost everyone’s faces resembled her’s.
“Dude,” Corey said, Sam turning the camera to face him. “This literally feels like a horror movie.” He said. [Y/N] sighed, Sam panning over to Colby and [Y/N]. She rested her hand on Colby’s, which was resting on the table.
“What do we do now?” She asked. Sam sighed.
“I guess the best thing to do would be to go to her house. If we don’t feel safe, we’ll make it quick and then leave and just go right to camping in the forest.” Sam said. Colby tilted his head to look at [Y/N].
“How does that sound to you, baby girl?” Colby asked. [Y/N] lowered her eyes and bit her lip slightly in thought. She then looked up at the camera.
“Yeah. That sounds good.” She said. Sam panned the camera over towards Corey and Jake.
“Corey? Does that sound good to you?” He asked. Corey nodded.
“Yeah bro, I’m fine with whatever. As long as there are no f*cking rituals and seances.” He said. Sam nodded.
“Again, we aren’t going to be doing anything like that.” He said. [Y/N] looked over at Jake.
“Jake?” She asked. Jake looked at her then to the camera.
“Do you think we could play in the play place before we go?” Jake asked. Everyone started chuckling and looking at the camera. Sam shrugged.
“I don’t see why not.” He said.

//Here is part two of the Witches Forest. Part three will come soon.//
Any and all opinions are my own, and are not law.
Sigh.
I rewatched the Witches Forest in its entirety, because I have no morals.
This gets...long. And rambly. And nonsensical. I started out with great intentions of writing out something coherent, but my brain had other ideas.
Sorry.
Before I get into this, I want to say: while I did miss their comedy and friendly dynamic, their paranormal content back then was just...annoying. And, to be honest- the traphouse did not work well together in the paranormal sense. I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did. Sam is too bossy and skepitcal of everyone else's experiences, yet totally fine with his own overreacting about everything; Colby is the tired mom that is over everyone's shit and is tired of keeping it together; Corey resents the secrets and the rituals and the way they don't take it seriously, which causes him to overreact and subconsciously sabotage by pumping the brakes every time they hear a creak; and Jake is trapped somewhere between not being able to take any of this seriously, and being completely apathetic about everything.
They are the freaking Bestles, and this is their Magical Mystery Tour era.
Anyway, onward.
More reasons why Witches Forest Colby hits different 🥺

Colby’s Pov:
My lungs felt like they were on fire. I’ve been running for about ten minutes and there was still no sign of the shadow figure that I saw.
“Hey babe, I think we should go back now.” I shouted back to my girlfriend while slowing down a little bit.
When she didn’t respond right away I grew worried.
“Baby?” I asked while coming to a complete stop and turning around.
“Shit.” I muttered to myself when I didn’t see her there.
I must’ve lost her when I bolted back at the fire. She was probably with Sam and Jake. I just sighed and wiped the sweat off of my forehead.
“Guess I should head back now.”
And with that I started the long hike back down the path and to the campsite. Hopefully I could remember where it was.

Witches Forest: Colby Brock x Medium Reader; Part 1
~~~~~~~~
//An: So, for this imagine, it is going to be broken into multiple parts. Not sure how many, but we'll see. In the story, the reader is a medium who can see spirits and feel different energies of the spirits.//
[Y/N] sat next to Colby on the couch, Sam's phone out of front of him. Colby was filming. They were all were debating on whether to take Jennifer up on her offer for them, [Y/N], Colby, Jake, Sam and Corey to stay in the Witches Forest. Sam looked at [Y/N] and Colby. The group had met Jennifer when you went to the Stanley Hotel to investigate the hauntings.
“What do you guys think? Should we do it?” Sam asked. Colby sighed.
