📚 What’s the longest fic you’ve read in one sitting? – Oh, dear. Latelymost of what I read are the prompt fills for @pillarspromptsweekly and thoseare rarely very long compared to some of what I used to read on AO3 (I’m one ofthose who’re usually either mainly-reading or mainly-writing…or life is toobusy for either, which alas is the current state – so while I’ve been inmainly-writing mode for Soul & Shield I haven’t visited AO3 much.) So theanswer to this one is probably something I read years ago and I’ve no idea whichof those I read in one sitting. Probably one of @loquaciousquark’s Fenhawkefics because once I discovered those it did not take me very many sittings togo through the whole lot of them (it may have been either summer or springbreak, conveniently :-D) so I think I went through even the longer ones there in one sitting. I do knowthat the longest fic I’ve ever read, definitely not in one sitting, but often continuing with it during my planningperiod at school when I’d finished my lesson planning and grading for the dayand could afford a little downtime, was @tarysande and @w0rdinista’s From the Ashes. :-D Goodluck to any fic aiming to surpass that wordcount! (and good luck andmuch-deserved rest to any writer who surpasses that wordcount whether by aim ornot…)

💡 Tell me a headcanon (and who you wish would writeit)? – Hmmmm well on the one hand telling people ideas I wish theywould write is the whole purpose of running @pillarspromptsweekly … 😉 But here’sone; I like the idea of the Watcher’s past life as Inquisitor having known pastlives of some of their present-day companions too. I’ve seen a few examples ofthat done in fic (hey I guess I’m writing one too, with Vi & Lenn’s pastlives being missionaries together pre-Inquisition) but it would be interestingto see a fic set in the Inquisition era with the Watcher’s past life and ahandful of other characters whose souls reincarnate to be people the Watcherlater meets in the Dyrwood or Deadfire. And to have some sort of hints as towho’s who, maybe? Or a dual-timeline type of thing (I mean, I guess that’s whatI’m doing with Vi’s and Lenn’s glimpses of their past lives now) that providedthe clues as to whose past life was which?

I'm a huge fan of your writing here on tumblr and AO3 (I'm aerithari over there!). I'd be so interested to see more of your post-canon Connor take. I'm writing one right now (paired with an OC heh). The whole concept is RIFE with thoughtful angst opportunities. ;) Keep on keepin on!

As for Post!Canon-Cannor - that’s a fascinating subject right there. Just on sheer scale of him learning to be human, post-revolution implications etc. If we’re talking in terms of Connor x Reader relationship I feel like that really depends on when Connor and Reader met??

If they met Pre-Revolution, Connor is probably going to associate his deviancy with Reader. He will learn to love them more and more, and with each day he does, he becomes more deviant. Really strong emotional bond right there. Since most/if not all positive things in his life will be associated with Reader. But angsty too (pretty much Earth is Warmer lol)

If they met Post-Revolution, emotional stuff is easier but messier. He has no idea what he’s doing and is basically riding a car called “Humanity” with no brakes on at 100mph lmao. Probably a lot of misunderstandings that eventually get resolved. 

OCs is actually where I started my writing journey so I feel for you boo. I wish you all the luck with it, I believe in you, and if you ever need help to bounce ideas shoot me a message! :D
