Finally, FINALLY finished setting up my altar. I had bits and pieces all over my house… I feel so centered and at peace now.

Hey! I'm a beginner at Wicca/witchcraft and I was wondering if you could explain altars a little better to me. Their purpose/use, how to set them up and make the most out of it etc. Thank you so much!
So it’s been like months since you asked me this! I am so sorry. In Wicca altars are a place for you to dedicate to your God and Goddess. I initially set up mine by finding treasures out on my walks, things that stood out to me. Then it progressed to images, herbs, offerings, crystals ect. It’s recommended to have an altar on wood. But you can grow to that. It doesn’t have to be perfect. What ever you have will be enough. :)
