T R E E • M E D I C I N E . I'm glad I got to the Witch hazel blossoms before this little storm came through. The snow is still clinging to the spots of shade outside. . This picture was taken during the last full moon when Skye and I found a lovely witch hazel tree sitting inside a strangers garden. . We knocked on the door and were greeted by a sweet old woman. We told her how we couldn't help but stop in, that her tree was the biggest and most beautiful witch hazel we had ever seen. She in turn told us we should take some. . She said that over the years there have always been the few who will come by admiring her tree. And that she just loves to share it. . So, I'll be brewing up some lovely hydrosol, from the branches I've got curing up in the rafters.
