He trusted Davina more than anybody, the idea of her getting hurt didn’t come down to trust in her it was others - a target was already on her head, but since they’d been together the risk of someone hurting her had become greater. She was his weakness, but for good reason. Tony Stark didn’t have weak spots anymore or at least he hadn’t when he’d just been a mess of booze and self - destructive tendencies. But if he lost Davina he lost everything.
