Witchwear Workshop | Levanter
My submission for Witchwear Workshop <3 @stayblrr
This design was created to show that magic schoolwear doesn’t have to be traditional or plain.
I wanted something that feels powerful, personal, and stylish mostly because Levanter students value self-reflection and finding their true selves. Their look should represent Us .... not just a uniform.
That’s why I chose not to go the usual route of plaid or typical school patterns.
This isn’t a traditional school, and their clothes shouldn’t be either.
the deets:
Dress The base of the outfit is a short, layered dress in rich royal blue. The bodice has a corset-inspired shape that flatters the figure while still allowing movement. The sleeves are sheer and light, simulating a sense of airiness, Levanter's element. The gold detailing across the dress is done in soft, wavy lines — these represent the wind’s constant motion. I added subtle wave-like water patterns as well to show how wind shapes the world around it, pushing water to form waves.
Cloak I wanted the cloak to break from the idea of a heavy, traditional wizarding cape. This Levanter cloak is light and fluid, made from 2 layered fabrics that move easily with the wearer... almost like wearing the wind itself. The gold embroidery along the edges isn’t just for decoration: it shows stars and abstract wind patterns, a reminder that Levanter magic is tied to the skies and air. Its shape is slightly asymmetrical with slanted hems, giving it a modern, fashion-forward feel while still feeling magical.
Boots The knee-high boots are designed for both style and comfort. They have gold-stitched detailing that ties them into the rest of the outfit and are light and easy to move in, whether on stone floors or forest paths.
Accessories The layered charm belt and gold jewelry add small magical touches without overwhelming the look. The dagger holder and necklace add a bit of edge and a sense of "history" to the outfit, like something passed down or found on a magical journey.
Wand holster Worn at the thigh for quick access, so the wearer’s hands stay free for whatever spells or adventures come their way.
