👟 - Is your character into personal fitness?  If so, what’s their exercise routine?

Yes, he meditates, runs, and maintains his sword play. Here’s a fun video of Lewis because it’s very Matty. 

💡 - What is the best idea your character ever had?

He’s not sure if reconnecting with Owen can be attributed to him or not, but apart from that: Shipping By Knight. It helps him to remain connected to his past and it’s rather lucrative. 

😄 - What has ever made your character laugh so hard that they almost passed out?

He doesn’t have very many of these moments often, but the majority of them can be attributed to something ridiculous Owen has said. 

📰 - An obituary for your character was found in the local paper this morning. What did it say?

Were Matty to ever die, he’d hope that an obituary wouldn’t be posted. After all, very few people would care or would need to know of his demise so he sees no reason as to why word of it should be posted in a public paper.

🚼 - Does your character have or want kids?

Alex is the father of one child; his daughter Mira, currently 6, almost 7, is the absolute light of his life. In his eyes, she’s the most perfect child on the planet -- she’s curious, bright, empathetic, and generally all of the things a parent could want in a child. I think a few things go into Alex’s view of Mira -- the fact that he wasn’t present for her birth since he was out of the country on a research trip, and the fact that he’s been his primary and sole caregiver for a few years now. She’s the most important person in his life and he would give anything to see her live a happy, healthy, and fulfilled life, whatever that may mean for her. That being said, Alex can’t imagine the possibility of more kids. If he were to marry someone who has kids or wants kids, he’d gladly accept them no questions ask, but actively pursuing the idea of more children is not something that Alex is currently doing. There are simply too many things about Mira’s experiences and his lack of experiences that worry him (re: puberty as well as the fact that he’s human while she’s a half witch). So, while he’s well aware that he’d be a phenomenal father to another child, he doesn’t see it in the cards for him right now. 

📚 - Does your character read?

If Alex could spend the rest of his life reading, he would. 

💢 - What frustrates your character more than anything?

Not having the knowledge required for any given situation. This could be in the classroom when a student asks a question, -- it sends him deep into research mode so that he’s able to answer said question at a later date -- in parenting, or even in his love life. Alex is just so used to being able to being able to solve problems that when a situation arises that he can’t solve or that he has no expertise, he becomes frustrated. 

😇 - What was your character’s last good deed?

Paid for the coffee for the person behind him in line at the cafe.
