Witches, next week we have Friday the 13th! 😈
Winter Couple Challenge: Family Tradition
“I thought we’ve lost it in the move,” Barron joined her on the couch, looking appreciatively at the very risque pictures he once took of his wife, who was then just a friend with benefits.
“I thought so too,” Sylvia told him. “But guess what I found Circe and Carter playing with this morning? It’s a good thing I got it out of their hands before they got to the ones where we’re both naked.”
“I doubt they would’ve cared about the pictures,” he chuckled. “Kids that young generally don’t notice or understand if they’re seeing something inappropriate.”
“No, but they do have a tendency to talk about all sorts of things in public - and I’d rather it didn’t come out in public that the little ones got their hands on this.”
“We’ll have to hide the photos better, now that we know where they are,” he promised. “I’m glad we’ve found them - they bring up some fun memories.”
“That they do,” she smiled. “You were always a good photographer. Remember how we would have photo sessions like this every winter season?”
“It was a bit of a tradition for us,” he nodded. “Until things got so hectic.”
They exchanged a look.
“Are you thinking what I’m thinking?” he asked.
“The teens have gone to the winter festival an hour ago and the little ones are asleep,” she told him. “And there should be plenty of natural light for another couple of hours...”
“I’ll get the camera!”
Winter Couple Challenge: Shoveling the Driveway
Barron wasn’t usually one to complain, but he was a bit disappointed when Sylvia promised to help him shovel off the snow around their cars and didn’t.
Not that it was hard, but it was the principle of the matter!
“Hey, the snow’s mostly cleared off!” he announced, coming back in. “Sylv?”
“Oh, hey, sorry I didn’t join you - I got a bit distracted here,” she apologized, raising her gaze up from the object in her hands.
“Is that what I think it is?” he asked, eyes landing on the photo album.
Winter Couple Challenge: Last Minute Holiday Shopping
Three days after the storm warning has been lifted from the city of Bridgeport...
Sylvia: Yes! This is it! And he better appreciate this. I don’t splurge like that for just anyone.
An hour later...
Barron: Sylv? Hey! What got you so flustered?
Sylvia: Here you go. A holiday present for you. I hope it’s the right kind.
Barron: A new camera? Sylv, you didn’t have to! I wasn’t paying attention when my old camera broke.
Sylvia: I wanted to, ok? And it’s not just your fault your old camera broke. We both weren’t paying attention. Besides, I just wanted to get this for you. Is it the right one?
Barron: Are you kidding? This is state of the art!
Sylvia, relieved: Good.
Barron: So, now that I have a new camera, how would you feel about testing it out? ;)
Winter Couple Challenge: Naughty or Nice
“Well, what do you think?” Barron came out of the bedroom, laughing at his own getup.
“I think that if mall Santas were dressed like this, I may have actually been inclined to get in line and sit in their lap,” she told him sweetly.
“I’ll take it as a compliment,” he smirked. “But I also think you’ve been a very naughty girl.”
“Well, of course! It’s my business strategy - be naughty, get plenty of coal, and profit!”
“Good thing I never got my clothes back from your place after that other time,” Sylvia chuckled, as they finished making cranberry tarts.
“Right?” he laughed. “At least you have something to wear now. Not that I object to seeing you without anything on.”
“Of course, you wouldn’t,” she smirked. “I admit, staying here hasn’t been so bad. I just wish we could go outside. I hate being trapped, even if it’s by weather.”
“Yeah, I feel that too. But we can make things fun,” he laughed. “I have an idea.”
“An idea?”
“Yeah, just promise me you won’t laugh”
