I have a deity contact story!!! Okay so, I am currently in Norway, on a trip. So up until I came, I prayed and left devotions for Hermes and Aphrodite (as my boyfriend as going to be traveling as well). So, all was well, until one night we ate strawberries (a fruit of Hermes). They were very good, but I got sick off of them. A few days later, I ate a piece of strawberry flavored candy, and it tasted off. Shortly after that, my boyfriend announces he wanted a break, thus kind of, you know, ruining a good week of my trip. Heartache does not go well with travel. I think Hermes was trying to warn me. However, after the split, I was out in a town, and I sat on a rock. Almost immediately, i spotted a bumblebee very close to me. It couldn't fly, but it was alive and doing it's best. Bees are symbols/messengers of Aphrodite. I believe she was telling me that even though I was wounded, I would be okay. A few days later, I was taking an emotional walk around a nearby lake, being all sad and mopey and gross. I sat on the shore and questioned my goddess "is this even going to get better? Is it even a break or is he done for real? Is it just temporary?" As I was questioning, a bumblebee flew onto a nearby flowering bush before buzzing away. I continued to question and cry, before a small, skinny type of bee flew right towards me and just hovered around me. It even landed right next to where my hand was laying, and it just sat. I said "Okay, I believe you" and then it flew off And to be clear, those instances were the ONLY times I saw bees. I thank my Lord and Lady for their insight and guidance.
