Wil Trevelyan cannot handle his liquor. Never could. But that didn’t stop him from accepting Bull’s invitation to crack open random Bottles of Thedas with the Chargers after taking down another high dragon.

Wil woke up with a drawn-on mustache that looked suspiciously like an arrow and a huge bee around one eye. He thought he got off easy until Cassandra pulled him aside to inform him that there was also a rather obscene anatomical diagram on the back of his neck.

Well, I’m only now responding to this because I had no freaking idea I had mail.  Thanks, Tumblr.

Oh man, so okay: 

1) I love my hair.  I have great hair.

2) And eyes.  They’re almost black, and people ask me all the time if I’m wearing contacts.

3) My favorite professor in college (and a personal hero of mine) told me I was the best writer she’d ever taught in undergrad.  Which is awesome.  I wish I could do fiction, but at least I can be proud of my academic writing! Especially since I want to be a professor.

4) I care about people.  A lot. Too much sometimes.  

5) People would dispute this probably, but I actually like that I can be a tiny ball of rage.  I get asked why I’m so angry so much, but it’s because there’s so much in the world to be angry about.  So much needs fixing!  I get called over-emotional a lot, but most of it stems from empathy, honestly, and I’m proud of that quality.  Even when it gets me in trouble.

For the writing meme, 1 & 4?

1. of the fic you’ve written, which are you most proud of?

Of the ones I’ve posted, I think I love Rough Patches (pre-Star Wars Rebels) most. Fighting with someone you care deeply for (be it a friend, family member, or romantic partner) is terrifying because that insight means both people are uniquely equipped to bring the pain. Getting past it in a mature way is important, too. And I love just hinting at what’s going on beneath the surface.

I’m also really proud of some of the dialogue in Fresh Air (Dragon Age 2).

4. what are some themes you love writing about?

Sleep deprivation (it’s the root of all evil), identity crisis, and guilt come up a lot. Most of my stories end up being romantic (or pre-romantic). I love writing about a character processing their emotions while being considerate of the other person. I also like dirty jokes. Is that a theme?

stupid work =/ but I know the feeling. Two days and the heat and my brain is so cooked... it’s hard to write even the easist stuff.

yes.

I mean he started with the whole “charming and handsome” thing when talking about himself ... (when choosing the second dialogue option) and with my current Inquisitor the flirting vibe was so strong. idk why. 

and I kinda have this weak spot for power couples.
