Witchy Wishlists 2025
If you do not already know about Witchy Wishlists you can read about them here.
I’m participating again for my 11th year.
About me:
I am a disabled queer person who lives in Canada. My insurance comapny has kicked me off my income, and I've had to return to work at reduced hours. Work is causing me a great deal of stress, and I may end up unemployed in the new year. Times are hard.
Here are my wishes:
- Here is my amazon wishlist. I'll be frank, I've been struggling this year and while most of my wishlist is absolutely books, I have a couple of mobility aids and things to help my debilitating chronic pain on there that would be amazing, but they are pricy. No pressure at all. Also, if anyone knows any Amazon alternatives, I'm all ears. I try not to support them when I can.
-Here is my Etsy registry.
- recipes for your favourite baked goods! I love to bake and am always looking for a killer treat to try. Bonus if they're sugar free or low carb (because I'm diabetic!).
- I have a Linktree with some links to provide aid to folks in Palestine, Congo, Sudan, and Ukraine. I also would love some suggestions on ways we can help elsewhere too!
-buy something from an local indigenous artisan! It is the best way we can support the Indigenous community.
- donation (either in funds, goods, or time) to your local food bank, soup kitchen, or women’s shelter.
-Participate in mutual aid in your own community.
- do something nice for someone else. Buy them a coffee, leave an anonymous letter with some affirming message in a random library book, whatever. Spread love and joy in this terrible, hellfire world!
- do something nice for yourself. Take some time for a cup of tea, some time to read a good book, zone out with a comfort show or movie, or bake some cookies. This time of year can be stressful and overwhelming, so remember self care.
- book recommendations! Here is my Storygraph. I’m always looking for suggestions, especially for next year’s reading challenge!
- place a candle for me on a healing, money, or luck altar. Good vibes are always appreciated.
- Donate to my fundraiser, as I am going to be resigning my very toxic job and have no backup since I was on disability for most of the year.
