Fannar: And yes - look at Arlo while swimming.- There is a summer fair, and I am asking you to go with me.
Arlo watched mesmerized as Fannar changed, eyes falling on the beautiful pearlescent scales as the dragon swam around the boat. Such a beautiful creature, they all were, even the ones who were meere animals were beautiful. A mixture of awe and guilt wrenched at his heart, as he knew it was selfish of him to stay. It was selfish of him to even be here.
Arlo: A fair... -he looked away, towards the lighthouse, thinking about the invitation- I don't know if I'll be able to... I'll try to.
It wasn’t a lie. He wanted to go, stars did he want to be with Fannar, but he shouldn't have crossed in the first place. He needed to devour the portal before his brother found it. As they reached shore, they pulled themselves into a sitting position at the water's edge, letting Arlo join them if they wanted too. They liked this form, and they knew Arlo liked it. It was easy to notice in the way he looked at them when they were in it.
Fannar: Well I would love it if you can, but it's okay if you can't. I'm just happy to have you here right now. -they smile, petting the ground to hint he can come sit. - I'll take what I can get.
They chuckle-chirp and look across the water, seeing their house on the other side. It was a huge house they realized when seen from this distance.
