Summary:
“I am experiencing mild discomfort, but it is manageable,” Spock admits after a pause, tone clipped. Kirk snorts. “Yeah, sure, Mr. Manageable. Get over here before you turn into a popsicle.” Spock stays where he is, internally waging a war between his pride and the logical truth that it would help warm him up. Finally, with the faintest tilt of his head—a gesture Kirk has learned to identify as surrender—he moves to sit with him on the blanket. “There, that wasn’t so hard,” Kirk teases, wrapping one side of the blanket over Spock. There’s a distinct lack of protest from his partner. Or... Kirk and Spock kiss under the Northern Lights.
