Muse A is a stoner in high school. She always go to football games just to get high under the bleachers. She doesn’t care about school spirit or cheering for the home team. Muse B is the star quarterback of the football team. He’s popular and also known as a self centered jerk. Muse B finds A under the bleachers after just one game. They exchange sarcastic and rude comments before they part ways. Any time they are in the same room they bicker and throw insults at each other. One night Muse A gets cornered by a group of ‘truly awful’ teens. They are planning on doing unspeakable things to her. Muse B happens to stumble upon the altercation and Muse A is frightened and feeling hopeless unable to help herself against the number of guys. Muse B threatens the bunch knowing that he is outnumbered, but its the right thing to do.  He gets beaten and battered by the group but it’s just enough time for Muse A to get away. Muse B is left alone bloodied and in the middle of the street, but Muse A has a sudden bout of conscience and goes back. When she finds him unresponsive she gets him to the hospital as quickly as possible. When Muse B awakes he finds Muse A watching over him and he realizes she is the reason he isn’t dead in a gutter somewhere.  Its there that they still make sarcastic comments but its in a more lighthearted manner and they continue to bond while he is recovering.
