“Walking around, singing the blues? Me?” From an original surprised look - well, as much as she could actually show surprise on her face - her eyebrows pulled into a frown. That seemed nothing like her, and she was almost entirely positive she never did that, even while drunk. It just... wasn’t her. “You must be confusing me with someone else. Or you’re trying to pull a joke on me.” Which, if it was the case, obviously wasn’t working.

She quite enjoyed the Haunted House, and was the only reason she even showed up to the carnival. But there was something about that attraction that Elena particularly liked, and she just found herself volunteering for it. Although staying there could get really long, so she was thankful for the breaks she’d get once in a while. And her current break, she was spending it with Daemon. She couldn’t quite tell why, but she enjoyed his company, in a way. “Do you think it’s a bad idea I’m volunteering here? I mean... who’s to say I won’t just lose control and frighten someone to death?”
