Dorcas was frozen for a moment, unable to react. She hated herself for trusting him, and the more she looked at him, the more he hatred grew. But soon, that hatred was replaced for fear, and she just got on her feet, turning away from him. Running as fast as she could and hoping he wouldn’t follow. She wasn’t exactly looking where she was going, blinded by the tears in her eyes, and it led her to crashing into someone. She didn’t even try to stay on her feet, letting herself trip to the ground, but still looked up at the other. “Ed?” Upon seeing his face, she felt slightly relieved. Surely he’d know what to do. “I-I did...” She started, but was unable to bring herself to say more. It was horrible, she felt horrible for doing this. “I did something bad.” She finally whispered, her voice shaking just as much as her body was.
