EM2 - Chapter 15 - Radius/Luna
The Sun King roared at his secretary, who came running into the studio. “Find me Queen Luna. Now!”
“She is already here, Your Majesty. She …”
The doors burst open, and Luna entered the room. “Radius, what is this?” Helios immediately excused himself, giving the former couple some privacy. “What is happening?” She had her phone in her hand, and practically shoved it in his face, though Radius was much taller than her.
“She …” Unable to continue, the King took her in his arms. He held her, he let her hold on to him. He caressed the back of her head, running his fingers through her long shiny silver hair. “She …” He couldn’t speak. He couldn’t voice his fears, his one fear.
“She will come back to us. She will.” Luna whispered, backing away a little so that she could look at him in the eyes, those eyes that were identical to Stella’s. She rested her small hands on his cheeks, drowning into those big sad eyes. “She will.” She repeated, and her voice was strong, sure, steady.
Radius’s teary eyes were staring at Luna’s, but soon they weren’t anymore. Soon, the King was kissing the Queen. Soon, Radius was holding Luna. Soon, a man and a woman were relishing in their long-lost love.
