i hate to be the bearer of bad news (or good news) but everyone who thinks powder is “dead” or ever truly gna “die” is wrong. powder cannot die!! powder will never die!!
unfortunately, that’s not how it works. jinx will forever carry powder around inside her, she will never quite get rid of her because she was powder, powder is her. you unfortunately can’t get rid of your inner child. (you can definitely repress it though!)
this doesn’t mean that she will ever be powder again. jinx will never be powder again, at least not as powder was.
i think after vander’s “death”, and vi’s abandonment, and if not after all those,,, then definitely after silco took her in, she was irreparably changed (traumatised). she ‘became’ jinx. there is no going back from that. but powder unfortunately will always exist in the most tender place of her psyche. possibly buried as deep as humanly possible, but still there.
unless jinx herself dies (yeah… probably not happening…) powder will continue to live, even if it’s shoved to the darkest deepest part inside of jinx…. she’ll still be there
i think that’s maybe the worst part of it, she will forever be haunted by someone she doesn’t want to be anymore
