Alright, let me tell you guys a true story that LITERALLY just happened:
I was wandering around the glass desert, looking for tangle slimes and painted hens when suddenly an achievement was unlocked. “Now” I thought, “what did I do to deserve an achievement?”. It turns out a gold slime spawned in the middle of a hen nest, ate 3 hens (I suppose), popping not one but 3 gold plots. I don’t even have the “sure shot” in this save yet. I cried from laughing so hard!
BUUT THAT'S NOT THE BEST PART!!
Or maybe it is, but it gets better! So after getting those magical gold plorts I return home. I started thinking about how the gilded ginger was the only slimepedia entry I was missing. "I wish I could find one, just like that" and well, I turn around a big stone exiting the glass desert and there it was, a perfect gilded ginger, waiting to be plucked out of the dirt. I've never felt so lucky in my live!!
