Head On Collision || Maddie, Amy, Nathan/Apollo
Maddie held on to Amy’s hand as they walked on the beach together. It was getting dark, the sun was setting on the horizon of Elyisum. It was the perfect night for just the two of them to be together. Maddie’s father and step mom had offered to watch Lottie, and Drea absolutely loved the little girl. She knew Lottie would be in good hands.
“I’m so glad we’re doing this. Dinner. Maybe a movie. A nice walk on the beach with my person.” She said, sending Amy her biggest smile. They’d been arguing a bit lately, but it was nothing a date night couldn’t heal. They had both been so busy, Amy with her training in LA, Maddie flying in and out of Elysium all the time, sometimes taking Lottie, sometimes leaving her with Amy. Their lives had become less about themselves as a couple and more about their careers and their daughter.
“We need to take nights like this more often, just the two of us. And Dad’s going to have his hands full now that Lottie knows she can control water. She thinks it’s hilarious to knock over flower pitchers and glasses of water, or make her bath into a wave pool,” She said chuckling a little bit, before stopping and taking a breath.
